That is some clean architecture. Very elegantly designed theater.

The Campbell show last night was another magical evening with Jackie! One would think she couldn't get any better but every time I see her she does. Her selection of songs covered just about all of my favorites. The Lords Prayer always brings a tear to my eyes. The only down side was my cousin and her two grand daughters were going to come to their very first show and due to road conditions they didn't get to come.

Perhaps this will get others to post their reviews.
Campbell Concert.
This is not meant to be a definitive review of Jackie's concert at Campbell's Heritage Theatre last night. Here is the set list:
Excluding Peter Kiesewalter pieces the list of songs with cd listed were:
1. Pure Imagination (Songs From the Silver Screen)
2. Open Fields of Grace (Awakening)
3. Memories (Awakening)
4. Music of the Night (Songs From the Silver Screen)
5. Fix It (Coldplay) on new cd (Two Hearts)
6. What a Wonderful World (Songs From the Silver Screen)
7. Impossible Dream (Dream With Me)
8. Nessun Dorma (Dream With Me)
9. Caruso (Two Hearts)
10. Medley : O Mio Babino Caro, Time to Say Goodbye, Think of Me, Somewhere, When You Wish Upon a Star, A Mother's Prayer
11. Writing's On The Wall (Two Hearts ?) published as a single
12. Safe and Sound (Two Hearts ?) published as a single Taylor Swift on Hunger Games movie
13. Lovers (Dream With Me)
Encore
14. The Lord's Prayer (Dream With Me)
Peter's Pieces:
1. Mozart Overture (Not sure which one)
2. From George Bizet's Carmen
As usual Jackie dedicated What a Wonderful World to her father and Impossible Dream to her mother. She engaged in more showwomanship than the the two previous concerts I attended in San Francisco on March 26, 2012 and San Rafael at the Marin County Civic Center on November 15, 2013. She was much more comfortable speaking between songs and her father received the butt of some of her humor including that he was not quite adept at singing What a Wonderful World. Of course, the power of her voice since the last Jackie concert I attended was very noticeable. She received standing ovations just before the intermission with Nessun Dorma as well as at the end of the concert and for Music of the Night. Perhaps, I am missing some other standing Os.
Pictures of her dresses have been posted on jackieevanchofansproboards. As usual I attended the concert with members of my family, however I would like to be sociable and say hello to some of the long term posters who attended last night's concert. Perhaps, next time. Since I do not travel long distances thus far to attend Jackie's concerts I regret that it may not be until Jackie is over 18 before I attend another of her concerts.
A couple of more observations: I did see a few of the concert goers with pins, and someone gave a pin to one of the working volunteers. There were few younger people, and I counted only one a definite child, but there were some teenagers. Some attendees were considerably elderly (almost unbelievably older than me), but then with age they have reached the age of wisdom and wished to attend Jackie's fine concert performance.
Peter's 2 pieces were well received, and he obviously enjoyed performing solo. The audience gave enthusiastic applause to those 2 solos, and I think perhaps in part for his playing for Jackie. He did accompany Jackie vocally on one song, but I did not remember which one. I think others would have noted the exact song. Yes, he was dressed less formally than Jackie.

Quite interesting to see open fields of grace in the set list. I have always loved it and felt that it is slightly underated.

Yes, highway 17 and other roads between Ben Lomond and Campbell were blocked by mud slides or downed trees.

I wasn't there. But I asked people who were and was told that Jackie did not sing Open Fields Of Grace. Made To Dream was performed in second position at Palm Desert and Cerritos. So, I assume the same occurred here

The Campbell concert was impressive. The sound system had a few squeals and Jackie noticed with a grimace on her face. However she carried on like nothing happened. Dad(JrChico) and I were fortunate enough to get to know Pgantioch as we drove from San Francisco to Campbell. We arrived way early and drove around for hours checking out the town. Thank goodness for On-star, or we would have been lost. The fan gathering was split between two restaurants. One for the Facebook and twitter people and another for the Proboards fans only. Any how that is how it worked out. I would like to see more communication between those that are on both forms of media. The larger fan gatherings are full of a lot more energy and information being shared. All in all it was a beautiful concert and Jackie did not disappoint (as if she ever could).
