This thread is intended for posting comments and videos for discussion about Jackie's exceptional versatility as a vocal artist and entertainer. In my estimation, Jackie is endowed with a certain genius for interpreting any song, regardless of genre, with respect for the original artist's intention, while "making it her own" (a phrase iterated countless times in the comment sections of her videos). That is largely due to her insight to the ethos of a song, her distinct timbre and way of coloring her lower register, and especially the clarity of her soprano register. Whether it's her popish style of singing a Puccini medley, her rhythm and blues approach to a rap song, or rockin' out with a band singing "The Devils in Mary Jane", Jackie performs with equal brilliance. I'll open with those three comparisons as examples of her musical diversity:
Jackie's first performance of her Puccini medley:
Bazzi's rap song, "Dreams", accompanied by her music director, Jorn Swart.
"The Devil's in Mary Jane" at Rockwood Music Hall. Jackie is having fun rockin' out in teenage fashion, uninhibited by any expectation of her as a cc artist. The song is from the off-Broadway rock musical, "GET JACK".

It immediately struck me upon hearing Jackie's recording of "Both Sides Now" that it is very similar in technique to "Have You Ever Been In Love" from Two Hearts at age 16. Of course her voice has matured further, but the style of singing with her mouth almost touching the mic, thus capturing her breaths with an intimate, almost spoken delivery is the same. One of her vocal styles that surfaces occasionally.
