Not sure of the date and place of this; if somebody knows, please post. This performance has always been one of my favorites - for the song, and she so throws herself into it. The studio version on the Dream With Me deluxe edition, and on DWM in Concert are lovely, too but Live works for me!

Another knockout. She has the most sensitive and expressive vibrato I've ever heard.

The original YouTube vid, from gwenUTUBE, was uploaded on 2011Dec18. According to Wiki's concert tours thread, that leaves only a few possible locations. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackie_Evancho_concert_toursShe did a mini-tour, her 1st, in August of that year. I recall she did 6 dates, but Wiki says there were only 5. I know this vid wasn't taken Sun Valley Idaho or Dallas TX. There were only 2 dates between then & the upload date, 2011 Oct 6 at the Benedum Cntr in Pittsburgh & 2011 Nov 7 at Lincoln Cntr in NYC. I suspect it was one of those, but I don't know which.

If I had to choose one song to represent Jackie's legacy as a child it might be Mi Mancherai or Nella Fantasia. I've never witnessed a child express such passion so brilliantly with a voice so pure in a language not her own.

The only video of Mi Mancherai available now (visuals from her performance of Nella Fantasia on The Talk) If I had to choose one song to represent Jackie's legacy as a child it might be Mi Mancherai or Nella Fantasia. I've never witnessed a child express such passion so brilliantly with a voice so pure in a language not her own. Here is another:
Can't find the one from DWM anymore !!!

Her vibrato on DWM was much better than her subsequent live performances imho. Her tone and timbre were awesome but her vibrato sounded too fast and "nervous" for me. When her voice changed in her early teens her vibrato smoothed out into the gorgeous vibrato she possesses now. The change made all the difference in her voice to me. Plus, her lungs have gotten stronger and she is able to hold her notes out longer.
I have listened to a lot of singers but for me, Jackie possesses the most beautiful voice in the world. It's still not the strongest but it is the most beautiful.
