I'm one for whom Jackie remains vividly present in the truly wonderful music she made for this and many thousands of other awestruck fans for 11 years, beginning with the first album she cut in Nov. 2009, Prelude To A Dream. I wrote some years ago on one of her proboards, that if she decided to bag it and retire from performing to just live life like most of the rest of us, I'd remain one of her fans for the rest of my days. She achieved in those 11 young years more than all but a tiny few of us are blessed to do in an entire lifetime. She became one of the world's greatest singers, of and for all time, at just 10 years of age. For all time ..... not just until Dec 2, 2020. (Also posted as my comment to Jackie's, "River", this morning). Agree, she had a hell of a career. I still miss her though.

Unfortunately this is a video from last summer that Juilet was caught trying to sell as a recent birthday video and has been called out on. Sorry folks the deception continues with Juliet refusing to answer any questions regarding Jackie's current status. Sad state of affairs in Jackieville. 🙁

Come on Jackie. Neil wasn't exactly the copy of Rubinstein on the piano. Start pumping out those originals.

I think it's an over statement to say Juliet was trying to sell it as a recent video, that wasn't my impression by reading the comments. As for Juliet refusing to share any inside information she has on Jackie, isn't that what you'd want your sister to do if you wanted some privacy? I would.

Anyway, Juliet was the only family member who mentioned Jackie's birthday on social media. I mean, it is not important do this. As I remember, Rachel, Zach, Mike and Lisa did it (nearly) every year in the past. And the 21st birthday is still something special, I guess.

And the 21st birthday is still something special, I guess. It is the age where one can drink legally in the US. (When I turned 18 that was the legal age in New York, but since then the US made it 21.)

And the 21st birthday is still something special, I guess. It is the age where one can drink legally in the US. (When I turned 18 that was the legal age in New York, but since then the US made it 21.) More precisely, it's a condition for states to receive all their federal highway money, that the age be 21. I think some states allow those under 21 to be served small quantities with meals, but ONLY at home by their parents or guardians. In a lot of the world, that's customary, it may be half a glass or less, or watered down (wine or beer). Until safe water was widespread, people of all ages at least in much of Europe drank either wine, beer, or tea (the former able to keep better than fruit juice absent refrigeration; the latter using boiled water). Nowadays, in the few places where the tap water is still dicey, they more often drink bottled water - usually mineral water, at least back in the '70s. But the historical influence of past conditions on custom still remains.

Risking uselessly beating an already dead horse to death all over again (# Yogi Berra), the first part of my most recent comment to Jackie's Youtube "River" video got me thinking more and probably pointlessly about Jackie's disappearance. Excerpt from my Youtube comment: "Jackie faithfully and frequently stayed close to her fans in many ways over her career, now officially spanning 11 years since her first album. Her many albums, concerts, music videos, interviews, TV appearances, social media including almost weekly Instagram, Facebook, and most recently Tik-Tok posts, were her many ways of not only promoting her talent but staying in close touch with the thousands of hearts she most definetly touched and "effected" over many years. In fact, many fans describe their reaction to her as "The Jackie Effect". So to have that very unique connection very abruptly end with her last Instagram post of Dec. 2, 2020 is concerning to those especially who became a fan because of the way she so inimitably touched them.".
It's impossible for me to believe that Jackie did not know or care about how she effected many if not most of her fans; or that the connection wasn't unusual, extraordinary and inimitable. So to simply disconnect so abruptly and without even the slightest explanation at the time or since is to understate it as ... mystifying. What possesses anyone in any close relationship to do such a thing? Unforgiving anger? Deep hurt? Extreme embarrassment? Catastrophic event or condition? Professional choice or preoccupation? That it could be the last one on the list doesn't make sense to me. I very much hope my latest and very speculative analysis is "dead" wrong, however.

Her relationship with her fans is very personal, so it's natural to wonder at this point the things you wonder when a personal relationship suddenly ends. Did we do something wrong (the flipping off Instagram photo really makes you wonder)? Is she mad at us? Did we hurt or offend her in some way? Or, if not, is something happening that she is really embarrassed by, or worse, just something really terrible happen that she's having to deal with? Or, did she even just decide to end her career, which doesn't seem plausible as much as she loves singing. It could turn out that she's just taking a long break, but these thoughts are normal.

I have a hard time believing that she just up and quit the one thing that she loves to do. I also have a hard time believing that for some reason she is mad at her fans. Maybe she read a comment regarding her family last year and decided to take a break from social media, not sure on that. But i do recall sometime late last year the comments on her YouTube album songs were all disabled for some reason. So maybe she read a comment that was derogatory towards her family. Or maybe the reason she went silent is what Rehoboth has been saying. Jackie is in LA filming DWTS and she signed a "Non Disclosure Agreement and off Social Media until late Summer". I don't believe that at once. I do find it troubling that we haven't heard anything from Jackie since last year and what about her new album that was supposed to be released early this year. The silence from Team Evancho is perplexing and also troubling. This isn't the way you treat your fans. No fans equal no career!
