I created this thread for all future songs with this label. I hope you all agree with it.

The more I hear Jackie's rendition of this now almost 50 year old song, I like it. But her video rendition I'm not sure about. What connection to skating away on a frozen river to escape a painful relationship is portrayed by it? Strolling and singing her way through a beat up, very poor and depressed old PA town in distressed jeans that may have cost her at least a couple hundred bucks leaves me .... a bit distressed to see her doing that. Makes me long for a return to her working with whoever produced, filmed, directed and edited Apocalypse, Writing's On the Wall, Safe and Sound, Think of Me.

Safe and Sound was my favorite, in terms of videos (rather than necessarily the song itself). Given the story associated with the song, Rachel playing Primrose was all the more effective for anyone who knew who she was.

I like the face closeups and the emphasis on her eyes! Oh Yeah!! Those eyes! I don't like the inclusion of Christmas Ornaments on various shrubs and plants! To me, this is not a Christmas song! "I made my baby cry" does not in any way connotate Christmas!

You need to get over that....99% don't know its about a breakup. Takes place around Xmas...people get feelings of Xmas when they hear that song as a result.

I have often wondered what original singers have thought about Jackie's versions of songs. I especially wondered about some of the songs which she sang on The Masked Singer. Joni Mitchell is still alive. Has she has listened to this?

Braddock is about a 40 minute drive south to just below Pittsburg from Gibsonia.
