TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR 2020 JACKIE EVANCHO SHOW
After performing two sold-out shows in 2018, singing sensation Jackie Evancho will return to Ocean City to perform with the Ocean City Pops at the Ocean City Music Pier on May 9. Tickets are available at oceancityvacation.com/boxoffice, by calling 609-399-6111 or at the City Hall or Roy Gillian welcome centers.
Since she first dazzled American television audiences at age 10 – gaining global recognition with her debut on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” – Evancho has released a string of platinum and gold albums with sales of more than 3 million in the U.S. All seven of Jackie’s albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Classical chart.
In 2019, Evancho returned to “America’s Got Talent – The Champions,” where she stunned the audience with her rendition of Barbra Streisand’s “Somewhere.” In April 2019, she turned 19 and in the same week released her latest album, “The Debut.”
On the album, she matches her extraordinary voice with one of the most exciting re-emerging genres in popular music today: Broadway’s New American Songbook.

Box office called to make sure I knew of the reschedule, and confirmed that existing tickets remain valid for that. Pretty good followup, IMO.

That's what I was expecting. I dont think there will be any Jackie concerts this year. I think next spring/summer there will be though.

Depends - if there's a vaccine being deployed by October, I wouldn't rule out something in December. IMO, it would very much help if she was seen to be doing something like either pay-per-view, or working on her next album, or something like that. It's a long dry spell for a lot of us with nothing more than an occasional short amateur video of part of a song.

It's a long dry spell for a lot of us with nothing more than an occasional short amateur video of part of a song. The rules for social distancing, washing hands and wearing masks are the same for Jackie as they are for the rest of us! She can't do anything at the moment to further her career, as everything associated with music requires working closely with other people. She could do what Katherine Jenkins did for 17 weeks a while ago, and give free Facebook concerts in her house with just Jackie and backing tracks. This would keep her voice in shape and ready for the normal world, if that ever returns.
But, it looks like until Jackie and everyone she comes in contact with has been vaccinated, what we see is what we'll get for quite a while!
