DID ANYBODY FOLLOW THIS LINK? According to it, the orchestra (center) and orchestra right sections are only $63 a seat! And Orchestra left and balcony sections are $43. So what's all the fuss about???

Only if you want to sit wayyyyy back...front row is $425.00 (say what?), five rows back is $250.00 (excuse me?), eleven rows back $205.00 (really?), thirteen rows back $180.00 (come on now), Fifteen rows back $113.00, $64.00 for seats nineteen rows back (what's the point?) These decent seats are way inflated for Jackie tickets.

That is Washington, DC for you. Soaking people for money!
Could go to Lexington MA, Cary Hall on Sunday, December 15th for a 3:00 PM concert and have gotten front row seats for $89. Still decent one left at that price.
Or go to the Phoenix, AZ, Celebrity Theatre on Saturday, October 5th for an 8:00 PM concert and gotten front row seats for $95. Again, still some decent seats left.
Or check out Las Vegas, NV, Reynolds Hall on Sunday, October 13th for an 7:00 PM concert and gotten front row seats for $99. Still can get center 7th row seats for $99.
Or go to any number of other venues around the country.
Hell at $850 for two front row tickets you could fly to London RT for as low as $472 for two, have enough for a hotel room (as low as $16 a night) and be able to get two front row tickets for $268 to see The Phantom of the Opera. If my math is correct, a 3-night stay in London with flight and theater tickets for 2 could run you as low as $788. Ergo, you would spend $62 less. Pretty crazy.
But that is Washington, DC for you with those politicians, their aides, hanger-ons and lobbyists driving up the prices.

Cancelled, alas. concerts1.livenation.com/event/150056D6FE6F5E9BFound out via a refund notice from the parking reservation; I gather that the ticket, being also an online (or phone) purchase, will be refunded automatically. In-person refunds have to be obtained at the point-of-sale, from what I've read. LiveNation did not provide any further explanation.

I guess one could say Jackie is not a big enough draw for Live Nation and the theater. Cheaper to cut bait than to get soaked with bigger losses. Too bad. But it is what it is.
Two cancellations for October at the beginning of the Debut tour with zilch info from Jackie's camp. Wonder what is going on?

I wonder if her new songs aren't getting the interest that her old songs were. I want to see her in concert, but would much rather hear the older stuff than the Debut broadway songs.

Thanks to the "price it as high as people will pay" model of LiveNation and/or TicketMaster these days, the prices for good seats were crazy. That probably didn't help. But unless someone saw the seating charts shortly before the cancellation, we don't know if sales was the factor. Rarely does anyone give a reason, and "Jackie's camp" is certainly not better about that than most. It may be that we'll see in the timeframe of cancellations, whether anything else came up instead. Or maybe not.

If you check the set lists of recent concerts (assuming someone posted them), you'll see that she still sings a number of the older songs, although of course not all of them. And I think most people would like at least two or three on the new album (for example, Somewhere, Once Upon a December, and A Million Dreams), even if the rest are less to their taste.

Are they booking Jackie into theatres that are too big for her?
Seating capacity Warner theatre = 2250 seats.

I wonder if they booked this many events on purpose, knowing that some wouldnt sell and some would...and planned on cancelling the ones that didnt the whole time.
