This is the following week's World's Got Talent show. There is a little girl who David Foster (and all the others) rave about.
I believe the World's Got Talent China show is to last for up to 13 weeks.
As we known, Jackie's next performance has already occurred. Given that there was to be at least 30 acts, and possibly 36 (or maybe even 54), and it looks like 5 or 6 acts are shown per show, so it should be at least 5 or 6 shows before get to the semi-finals. Assuming the same format, we would have had 10 to 12 acts get through to the semi-finals. Assuming they again pick 5 or 6 for each show, then the finals would occur in the ninth week of the show that is displayed on TV.
However, the prior noted format does not yield 13 shows as the February 2019 press releases seemed to indicate would be happening.
Another possibility would be 54 acts with 6 acts per show. That gives 9 weeks plus 3 weeks semi-finals plus 1 week finals. That would be 13 weeks. This could also be accomplished with 5 acts a show which would have 45 acts. Then have 9 weeks yielding the same 18 which can yield 3 weeks of 6 acts a week and a finals of 6 acts. That gets the same 13 weeks.
In any case, Jackie's next performance which she already did, could be shown on Chinese TV in as little as 4 weeks from now to as as long as 10 weeks from now.
Anyway, the next show broadcast would look to be on May 10th.
BTW, there looks to have been 3 shows shown, but only the first two are available on YouTube.

As someone who's familiar with Chinese TV shows, I know that most Chinese shows contain a lot of contents that are staged, and things people said on the show are not 100% accurate. For example, Jackie said that OMBC was the "first" song she learned (Obviously she learned many songs from TPOTA before OMBC). Also, David said he knew Jackie since she was "ten" years old (He knew her since at most nine years old, which was when she did TWYA at a David Foster concert). It is a fantastic show but it might not be a good place to learn "facts" about Jackie.

That little girl is Celine Tam from AGT 2017. Celine has definitely improved a lot from her AGT days. I wasn't overly impressed with her when I first saw her. In fact, I'm surprised that she even made it through the judges cuts.

Stationed in Vietnam, general entertainment was limited to movies or Asian bands playing in the clubs on base. The female performers, usually Filipino, were very adept at mimicking American pop singers in almost identical style, belting out the hit songs of the day. None of them sang anything remotely classical, but very appealing to guys missing home.
These child pop singers who appear on AGT screaming there way to "stardom" are really no different, except they have a larger stage to appeal to pop fans who are thrilled, even astonished, at hearing them sound like famous American stars. I'm not taking anything from their talent. It's just limited. In their native country, they wouldn't be unique. Just my observation.

You could say the same thing for JE because so far she has been unable to cross over to other styles of singing without using her more classical voice. Jackie is very talented, but only seems to be limited to a very narrow style of singing. The only singer that I have seen so far on YouTube who has been able to do this somewhat successfully has been Lexi Walker. She can jump from classical to pop/contemporary without missing much of a beat.

Jackie begins a birthday celebration with a short clip of "Happy Birthday" to one of the judges, and appears again in a huge red dress among other contestants at 1:28.

I really hope this is giving JE a needed boost in the international music market. However, for someone who has been at this for almost a decade now, it's somewhat of a shame that she even needs to do this.

She has visited China twice to perform for an audience of 165,000,000 and met other exceptionally talented people from around the world, not to mention the fun she has had doing it. I wouldn't consider it a "need" or a "shame", but a well deserved opportunity for direct foreign exposure and expanded life experience. Whether she advances farther or not is not as important as having demonstrated her talent and skill as a vocalist to a new audience.

not to mention the fun she has had doing it? While fun alone doesn't pay the bills, it's important to love what you do, at least for the long run (something less should always be temporary). Especially for someone in the arts, I'd think; else why deal with that level of uncertainty?

There now have been 4 preliminary shows for WGT. Based upon the picture of Jackie and other performers (some of which I do not remember seeing in any of the first 4 shows), one would expect at least 2 more shows before the already recorded semi-finals are shown. This would only be 6 shows before the semi-finals. It would be tough to get 13 shows in if that was the case. So either there are more preliminary shows or they are not doing 13 shows. We shall see.

It would have been even better if JE had performed to an international audience without being one of the contestants.
