Why do people who don't like a particular type of music and especially an artist of that genre make a point of seeking that artists videos just to make it known? Like, why would a person who doesn't like Jackie's music make a point of joining a fan forum in order to make it known that his taste in music is different, has no interest in buying her albums or attending her concerts? Doesn't make any sense, does it?...Unless there's a reason to be contrary and intentionally voice his distaste. One must assume that reason is to be disruptive (a troll). I don't care much for opera or country, so I don't listen to it...simple. My respect for music and artists I don't care for is to leave them alone. Why do people do anything? Why does the Grand Poobah of three Jackie Evancho themed forums openly bash her family and call her lastest albums trash? I have a saying that about sums it all up, " Hell is other people". 🤔

Many people like to check out new music, and sometimes they like what they hear and sometimes they don't. Some of her fans might like other songs on JE's album, but just don't care for Burn. The music world isn't just for the 24/7 mush and gushers, it's for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with that. I also have a great suggestion for those who don't like dissent of any kind, go start your own Jackie FORUM.

It is difficult to being in a quandary about a type of person(s) that goes out of their way to find fault in everybody and everything that fails to meet their standard. I conclude that the need to find fault is either genetic (like father / like son) or it is the product of the environment they were raised in. I believe it is more likely to be the latter and it is highly probable that they were the brunt of being raised where ones faults were constantly being voiced at them until it became ingrained that this is normal and acceptable behaviour. Any rebuttal directed to them is like water off a ducks back. Normal people would recognize that their behavior is not acceptable and would seek to move on to greener pastures. However, normalcy does not apply to this type of individual. They feel their role in life is to convince people to abandon that which they find fault in and adopt their view of perfection.
I have no doubt that those fault finders will attempt to trounce this post but unless it is quoted by someone that is not a fault finder then I will not see nor care; I will be totally ignorant of their response and I can wallow in the knowledge that ignorance can be blissful.

5% dislikes.....1200 comments Interesting stats ---- Dislikes = 4.95% repetitive trolls and 0.05% Rap lovers that don't understand the difference between music and noise. 424,820 views at present A few recent comments among the 1,000+ enthusiastic responses: This young woman is phenomenal! Very classic Broadway voice singing a Broadway classic: Burn from Hamilton! Reminds me of Sierra Boggess (Theater actress/singer)☆♡ Beautiful rendition! THAT WAS SUPERB !!! So touching and revealing and beautifully sung with a wonderfully and poignantly made video to help tell the tale. Really Nice !! I love that you’re making whatever you’re passionate about!! I’m two months older than you and prefer all of your musical theatre/classical stuff - although I enjoy pop too x Wow an opera song where I ACTUALLY know what they are saying. This is cool. Reply: It's not really opera though. It's from a Broadway show called Hamlition. Reply: Oh. Sory I just know she's an opera singer and it kinda sounded like it.

Classical-crossover not opera. Jackie would be the first to correct you.

For 9 years Jackie gets called an Opera singer and it gets ingrained into people's heads no matter what style she sings. Lots of work ahead to try to get that tag at least significantly minimized. Classical crossover does not much good since it is still associated with Opera which automatically drags that tag into the forefront. Maybe Jackie should create an album of country music. Then she can say she sang at the Grand Ole Opry. Of course she could try a full album of jazz or swing or something related. And just to add to the confusion here is an article comparing Hamilton as a essentially a subset of Opera: www.startribune.com/arias-and-jazz-hands-what-s-the-difference-between-opera-and-musical-theater/381702671/Jackie just cannot win when people start to call musical theater a form of Opera.

Burn just passed Attesa in youtube hits. While I think Attesa is wonderful and deserves 40 million hits, it only got a bit over 400,000 in two years. Yet it got the most hits of any cut on Two Hearts. Burn has a fair shot at a million - it might take a year, but it's got a shot. Jackie hasn't had a million hits on a studio cut in three years. I would agree that it's riding the Hamilton train some, but if it weren't good, it wouldn't have done this well so far. So let that be my story.

One of the most recent comments on the video:
"Such an amazing voice Jackie, very beautiful and powerful and I absolutely love it. Ever since I saw you on AGT when I was 8, you inspired me to follow my dream to be a singer. I've been to a state performance for my high school choir, and we got 2nd, but you have proved, that you don't need to win to do what you love. You just have to love what you do, and it's amazing to see how far you've come. I have a promise that if I ever get as far as you do, and people ask me who my inspiration for music is, i'd say it's you. Keep up the awesome work, and I can't wait to see more, 😘😅💖"

We all have different opinions as to exactly what should be allowed, but this post is quite different from most of cer's because it is stating that Jackie's performance deserves better. To me that is fine.

I'm sorry that my post wasn't clear. I meant that Burn passing Attesa in such a short period of time was something to celebrate. That's all.

Burn just hit half a million hits on youtube. It took three months. I wonder if it can hit a million by year's end.
