I'm going to try some hi-res music and all I can find for Jackie is 24/44 format. Does anyone know if some or all of her music exists in 24/192 or at least 24/96? You would think it would.
Tidal has no masters for her, from what I can tell.
If I were to go to vinyl (highly unlikely), only Awakening is available, is that correct? I only read one review of it, just a blurb, that said it was not a good transfer (my words, can't recall exactly what the reviewer said). But vinyl is an unlikely route for me.

Qobuz has five of her albums in high resolution. They are currently in beta for North America. The high resolution streaming is a little over $20.00 a month. I have a subscription.

Don't recall seeing any HD download pre-orders for The Debut. edit: This is the other one I recall, which has more right now but no pre-orders either: store.acousticsounds.com/index.cfm?get=results&searchtext=Evanchoedit 2: this is what hdtracks.com has: www.hdtracks.com/music/artist/view/id/7001/

You can purchase hi-res albums on Qobuz.
FYI, Qobuz is a streaming service located in France. They are in the process of setting up for streaming in the U.S. They are currently in beta release.

And tidal.com is the other (and until now, pretty much only) HD streaming service.

Thanks for the replies. That's disappointing, I was hoping that since hi-res was big with classical, that it might also be big with crossover. Bastet, are you streaming hi-res on Qobuz? I'm wondering how much better it is than 16/44. Like, is it only better if you're listening critically, or is it OMG better?

My 2c. I've heard Jackie on both CD and MP3, but haven't taken the plunge for HD tracks on her material, yet. However, I have heard the Beatles remastered discography in 24bit/44.1kHz and the difference over CD and 320kbps MP3 was clearly audibly on my Altec-Lansing soundbar. So, my personal experience bodes well for an improvement over 16bit/44.1kHz CD, if you buy Jackies 24bit/44.1kHz HD tracks.
