Seems that Jackie may also perform during the finale. Found this on the AGT fandom spoiler and leaks web-site. Posted four days ago. Maybe to promote her new album?
The semifinals were the final performances the contestants gave that counted for votes. The finals were just used for guest performances and other fun stuff. The only known info about the finale was that Darci performed with the muppet Rolf, Brian sang while Deadly Games performed, and Jackie Evancho returned. Shin and Darci were the top 2, but it is unknown who won and how the other acts placed.

12. Jackie Evancho, opera singer (America’s Got Talent 2010 finalist)
NO, NO, NO!! She is NOT an Opera singer! Never has been! Never will be! She is a Classical Crossover singer that is still looking for her place in music!
NOTE: I have emailed College Candy and asked for a correction!

That Opera singer label must still drive her nuts. You would think that some people would know better by now, but I guess not.

IMO opera and to a greater extent classical crossover is simply not music adopted by the US in comparison to Europe. The Grammy's do not even recognize classical crossover as a genre. That is part of the reason why Jackie and others in that genre will never be truly successful in the way pop rock vocalists are.

That is part of the reason why Jackie and others in that genre will never be truly successful in the way pop rock vocalists are. Unless you are one of the pioneers, i.e. Sarah Brightman. She's made her millions but that time has passed. Unless you're an Italian male or males. Jackie has been advised to call herself adult contemporary, apparently, which makes more sense. And that's basically musical theater and other current songs with melodies and intelligent lyrics. Adele and Ed Sheeran and Michael Buble seem to be the current big sellers in that genre.
