This will be the third time at this venue: Nov 22, 2014 and Apr 28, 2016. Nice to see that they are sticking strictly to the 2 year rule.

Ooops.... The February 23rd concert in Morristown at MPAC has been removed from Jackie's site. Nothing shown on the MPAC events calendar....so, Nevermind.
But, the Ocean City Christmas Concert on Nov. 24 has been added to Jackie's tour schedule.

No Morristown, NJ. February 23rd. Mayo Performing Arts Center for Jackie. NJ. is a dirty place anyway. The venue is nice , but you need an 'armed guard' with you to get there !

Hmm. I was there at both the 2014 and 2016 concerts, and unless it's significantly deteriorated, it was a nice enough area, and on the 2nd occasion, a safe walk back to the Hyatt Regency on Speedwell Ave (0.6 miles, past a small park). I would have been glad enough to go back there again based on the prior experiences.
And OC NJ struck me as a pretty nice beach town, unlike some reports that Atlantic City to the north has gone downhill. Red Bank was nice too, as I recall.
Some of the cities in NJ (or parts of them) may be bad, and some of the politicians are doubtless crooks. But name a place where that's not true if you can!
I'd _much_ rather go any of those three places than in most of DC, or Baltimore, or Chicago.

Seriously, in most cities, you have to know where it is safe. In DC, just don't try to jump the fence at 1600 PA Ave NW.

"Background With her upcoming new album and world tour, multi-platinum recording artist Jackie Evancho will match her extraordinary voice with one of most exciting reemerging genres in popular music today – the New American Songbook; inspired by the great tradition of Broadway musicals. This reemerging genre is adding a remarkable new chapter and repertoire to Jackie’s show, with a selection of songs from breakthrough musicals like Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, The Band’s Visit, Once, Spring Awakening and hit films like The Greatest Showman and more… Jackie’s show will also feature gems and classic songs from her past repertoire that have come to win audiences over the years; classics such as O Mio Babbino Caro, Phantom of The Opera, Nessun Dorma will create one of the most exciting and spellbinding evenings in the theater."
Anyone know anything about a WORLD TOUR?

That and other "information" revealed in articles and venue promotions has not been confirmed publicly by Jackie, that I know of. There's still no evidence that her album is titled "The New American Songbook". Notice that this states it as a genre, not an album title. We should be careful not to draw conclusion from unsubstantiated statements. Sometimes venues or interviewers may misunderstand, misinterpret or make an assumption and spin it in their own words.

lawrence;
Capitol Theatre is billing Jackie's upcoming peformance as Jackie Evancho - New American Songbook.
"Details Sat, Mar 16 at 8:00 PM @ Capitol Theatre
Jackie Evancho, the 18 year-old American classical crossover sensation that gained wide recognition at an early age, makes her Capitol Theatre debut! With her upcoming new album and tour, The New American Songbook, the multi-platinum recording artist will match her extraordinary voice with one of most exciting reemerging genres in popular music today. With songs from breakthrough musicals such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hanson, Waitress, Once, The Band’s Visit, Wicked, and Spring Awakening, and hit films like The Greatest Showman and La La Land, the New American Songbook has permeated mainstream culture – building its already-impassioned musical theatre audiences while cultivating a brand new generation of ultra-engaged young fans."
I would think that Capitol Theartre was given advanced notice from Jackie's management of the title of the upcoming album, which to me, is evidence. Also, the March 16, 2019 date is on her website.

Thank you, willyiam. I presume it to be so that she has ascribed that title to the album. There does seem to be some confusion though, because "The New American Songbook" is a familiar reference to that certain genre. It is probably appropriate to her theme of Broadway songs. Looking forward to its release.

" … With her upcoming new album and world tour, …"I remember, a couple of years ago there also was stated, that there is a world tour. But it never happend. yellowstone2014:
You are correct! I remember that also! But, I think the venue has mistaken, as did the previous venue, that the tour that obviously follows an albums release, is a world tour! I believe Jackie will be planning a U.S. tour, as she has done for previous albums, for The New American Songbook! The Capitol Theatre changed the billing for the March 16 performance, from Live In Concert, to New American Songbook, and the Mayo is billing her performance as An Evening with the New American Songbook.
The fact that we have 2 venues in Feb and March of 2019 billing her performance as The New American Songbook, leads me to believe that others (Coral Springs and Barbara B. Mann), will follow suite. Which also leads me to believe that the release date for her new album will be sometime early February 2019 and the Feb 23 Mayo performance will be the New American Songbook tour kickoff.
Just my humble opinion!
