we should have known that you were an opera snob. I am thrilled that Jackie commented on the reaction video I got QueenoftheNorth to do. It was good that she did that..... should do more of that.

This genuine, spontaneous reaction expresses more than what any critic could offer.

Apparently QOTN has been reading comments from detractors who say Jackie's high range has diminished since childhood. According to Luta's chart of Jackie's range on DWM, SFTSS and Awakening, the highest note of all three albums is A#5 on Think Of Me from Awakening. The second highest is A5 on Imaginer from DWM, and the third highest is G#5 on Music Of The Night from SFTSS. Therefore the evidence is that she demonstrated the highest range at age 14. Without a chart of the Two Hearts song list, her range at age 16 cannot be determined. Off hand, I think the highest note would be demonstrated on Attesa or How Great Thou Art. I would like to see the range for those two. We might consider the 4th Vincero of Nessun Dorma as well. My guess is that her high range has not decreased but perhaps the perception of it has changed as her voice has matured, or more likely, in my opinion, we are lead to believe it has diminished by persistent critics. They like to point out such "limitations", as if it really matters. jackieevanchofans.proboards.com/post/2867 Posted by Luta

Thanks, Luta.

Some comments on Queen's reaction to "Blank Space":
*She still has her high register. It’s still beautiful. You need to play Attesa and some of her other songs from her Two Hearts album. *She'll always find a place to show off that amazing Soprano. No need to worry she is not giving up the Classics, just expanding her repertoire.
*Just beautiful, but again I remember how you said when you watched Jackie sing Nessum Dorma on Britains Got Talent that you couldn't believe how she could go higher and higher. Again I ask you to react to her singing Attesa from her Two Hearts album. Its the one where she is wearing that beautiful shiny red dress. I just want to see your reaction to the song and especially those last notes. Thank You
*Evancho has always lamented she had no pop voice wanting to be more popular with her age group and realizing Classical music represents less than 1% of music sales in the States. Suddenly around 16 she began growing into it. With a fan base of over 55's who enjoy the Classics she has had to balance dipping her toe into Pop while not losing those who pay the bills. Next Album "The New American Song Book" Coming soon! will be a departure from the Classical and into great contemporary show tunes, nothing older than 10 years or so. Can't wait, I think its a side door Broadway audition, thanks Queeny, cool reaction as always. By the way disregard the Trolls, she has lost nothing in her higher range, in reality it is stronger, richer and clearer than ever before, love.
*That others THINK her high register is gone is probably right. They DO seem to think that. BUT They're wrong. What they are really reacting to is that she's shifting towards pop which only requires a one octave range, and also, no longer needs to use a rich operatic voice [technical reasons having nothing to do with range], which was ALL she had early on. Try "Attesa" for a more operatic voice and high notes.
*Those people are the same that have been singing her demises for 8 years. Why they live to see her fail I have no idea. The Queen should take note of the inordinate amount of thumbs down she gets for Evancho for no apparent reason. She has never done anything to anyone accept work her butt off.
Replies:
*I agree, the first group to go after her was the Opera snob's who resented her for bursting their elitist bubble. There's always an active anti fan group who hate the pure joy she can bring to her fans. The anti Trans crowd came next, that group though vocal was small, and hard for any thinking person to take seriously. Her being honored to sing the Anthem at the Inauguration brought the most vile and disgusting attempt at political intimidation I've ever seen against a child in all my years studying American politics. CNN crowned this American embarrassment by killing the gain on her mic as she stepped up to honor her fellow citizens and her nation. There aren't many artists who have taken that much heat for doing all the right things. The name recognition she gains form these unique events will in the end work to her advantage. One thing is for certain the little lighting rod for controversy is never boring and the loyalty of her fans the envy of an industry.
*Okay, then don't forget the many Jackie fans who always know better than her management team what she SHOULD be doing. Now THERE'S a rabid group.
*Her higher register is even better now.
*You really need to hear her Attesa! Really! 😜😊

One of the comments from Queen of the North's latest reaction to Jackie:
"She still has her high register. It’s still beautiful. You need to play Attesa and some of her other songs from her Two Hearts album."
At 1:47 Queen says, "literally reached pitch perfect".

REACTION: Jackie Evancho cover - Merry Christmas Darling cer here is a more recent comment that even you might find to be recent enough. OldBoiler62 21 minutes ago How many singers could or would stand in their living room with a piano and a mic and sound like that?

The man's expressions say more than he could have articulated, fully immersed in her performance.
