I think it will be a great day when JE takes over more of her own career and turns off her family ATM machine and opens up one just for herself. That assumes that Jackie is tough enough and knowledgeable enough to handle her own career. Or, more likely, that she can attract a manager with the talent and experience to handle her career for the standard compensation of 10-15% of her present income. Being professionally managed doesn't come free. Up to now, Jackie has preferred to pay her parents that fee. Or maybe Marc Johnston if he is still in the picture and the one booking her concerts. I'm talking about musical choices and other things like that. I know she will still need things like a professional manager.

Hopefully, she has had a financial manager. If one of Dad's 20 bros or sis or someone else talked a little money matters to Lisa they would have put a lot of that 2010-12 platinum and gold records and sold out concerts money into a nice high yield MF. The DOW was 12,000 +- the end of 2011 now 24,000. That's a nice 12 % gain. (I know) Then they could live off of the measly concerts and records money that nobody buys or goes to. Oh, whoa is them. As a coworker once told me, 'It ain't none of your business if you can't spend their money.'

can we have a chat about what you think were mistakes in the career of Jackie (or team ) , not to be negative but honest thoughts that may have hurt her just for something to chat , as fans we do care and keep in mind she is a minor yet so i put the mistakes mostly on complete team .
Jackie did say on social media she adores and loves the LGBTQ community and she respects your opinions but does not want to hear ........>> that is fine if she wants to go there but i would have told her to add >>>( and of course i feel the same way about my wonderful or faithful fans ) the fans have made her and they are not to be forgotten as tons are feeling today .

Not getting a competent management group like WME. Buying a new house while mommy and dad gave up their jobs. Not keeping an eye on other young celebrities and seeing how they are working with social media, school and a host of other thing that pertain to young celebrities. Having a dadmanager that loves to say no to anything that comes along. Even though Jackie supports her siblings none of them worked with her to help her career. The Ziegler sisters shoot eachother youtube videos and they both have very successful channels. Jumping on the Caitlyn Jenner wagon was a disaster that should have been Mike and Lisa doing that. Columbia did get Jackie one of the big Hollywood talent agencies. May have been WME. However, they dropped her when her early fame faded. Agents get 10% for finding their clients work. Apparently, there weren't enough Hollywood work offers to make it worthwhile for them, even if they assigned a junior agent. And then Columbia and Syco dropped her, too. Foster did get Jackie to sign with Marc Johnston who he partnered with in a talent agency which largely repped the kids Foster had found and promoted for a time.

So, WME somewhat gets to pick and choose who they bring on board!? So, throwing a ton of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ at them isn't always enough to hire them!?

Talent in Hollywood would do anything (and probably have) to get taken on by WME or any of their 2 or 3 peers. The only reason they took Jackie in the first place is because Columbia was backing her for her first three records after her debut and they hoped that celebrity would sell her for other things. But when her minor part in the Redford and friends movie apparently, didn't impress movie producers enough to get her other offers, they dropped her.

LOL is right! Bet you didn't go see the movie. Jackie did as well with her part as Ingrid Bergman could have. I know because Ingrid is my favorite actress, and I saw the movie.

Sit through Redford's snowflake preaching about the bomb throwers of the 1960's? Not likely, but I saw all the bits of Jackie's part, which came up on video and she was competent. Well, of course, she was. She said later Redford explained each scene to her and what he wanted her to do. And he allowed enough takes to get what he wanted. Not unusual with a child actor, chosen for their "look", rather than their experience. That was no hit on her potential, only to be expected. But what was, was that nothing about her grabbed the audience's attention. Maybe if Redford had had her do a Deanna Durbin in the pic, but that wasn't what he was about.

Ingrid Bergman is dead. Are you saying that Jackie played the role as if she were dead? Seriously, I didn't see the movie but she seemed fine in all the snippets which I saw. I don't know if she required an unusual number of retakes.

LOL Now Jackie is being compared to Ingrid Bergman. Any decent child actress could have performed that character competently.

LOL is right! Bet you didn't go see the movie. Jackie did as well with her part as Ingrid Bergman could have. I know because Ingrid is my favorite actress, and I saw the movie. Jackie took Redford's careful direction and gave him the performance he wanted. The best that could be expected from a totally inexperienced 10 year old. No hit on Jackie. But the opportunity didn't lead to anything else, because, though adequate, nothing about it would have made a producer sit up and say, "get me that kid". Unfortunately, Jackie's big chance came before she was ready for it. Some day, it may come again, and let's hope she will have been prepared.
