Review from Len on FB:
A review ofJackie's 06/04/18 Salem, OR concert!Jackie's second West Coast concert was at the Elsinore Theatre in Salem, OR, another beautifully restored early 1900's era theatre that seats ~ 1,200. As the name suggests, it was designed in a Tudor Gothic style to resemble the castle in Shakespeare's "Hamlet". Following years of decline, it was fully restored to its original grandeur in 2004. By my estimate, it was ~ 85% occupied with amazingly enthusiastic and adoring Jackie fans.
For this concert, Jackie reverted back to the basic format of only she and Peter on stage together. It reminded me of the two of them performing for ten nights at the "Cafe' Carlyle" in NYC, only to a much larger room.
With a few exceptions, the content of this concert emulated the Bremerton concert:
- Jackie confirmed that she is currently working on a new album. No expected release date was given.
- Dresses:
> 1st set - Basic black, full length gown w/ red floral pattern.
> 2nd set - Dazzling gold, full length gown, which brought out the usual "ooh's" and "awes'!
- Jackie provided touching dedications of "Starry Starry Night" to her Mom and "How Great Thou Art" to her Great Grandmother.
- For unknown reasons, "Fix You" was removed from the 2nd set and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" was moved from the 1st set to its position in the 2nd set.
> On a personal note, I really missed hearing "Fix You".
1st Set Song List:

- The Way We Were
- Think of Me

> Con te partiro
