2015 article with interview associated with the Sept. 17 Keswick Theatre concert. www.valleyforge.org/blog/post/prodigys-odyssey/"Singing with an orchestra is one of my most favorite things to do. I have a lot more freedom to hold a note or take a dramatic pause. And I think that that's really important to have in a performance. Because it becomes an easy way to give off what you want people to feel while you sing."

I believe that substantiates Jackie's confidence as a performer and vocalist. Jackie is in control of a performance while the orchestra accommodates her, not in the sense of compensating , but in complimenting her emotional expressiveness and enhancing her dynamic control of a song. She knows how to color a song and pull the heart strings to capture an audience. Multiple standing ovations in her concerts are testament to that. She may have done it innocently in the early years (particularly with Mario's sensitivity to her), but now she is showing to be masterful.

This performance of OMBC at age 12 demonstrates how Mario De Costanzo conducts the orchestra with sensitivity to Jackie's interpretation and genuine expressiveness.

Another factor is that Mario is a guest conductor of an orchestra that is not familiar with. His success with Jackie is his inate ability to make the orchestra adapt to his knowledge of Jackie's skill. I believe that in 10 - 20 years from now we will still hear good things spoken about Mario.....and well deserved based upon what we know now.

This is truly a wonderful performance. It is disappointing to see the low view count on the youtube video of this exceptional performance. And so very few comments. On top of that is the always present mean spirited comments that are found on nearly all of Jackie's youtube videos. This video has just over 4,500 views, with only 8 comments, and 1 of those is from the sick troll zamyrabyrd/cabagejuice. zamyrabyrd 3 years ago Just awful, who would pay a hundred bucks or more to hear THAT?

You need to get your ears checked. I've heard Jackie sing this song live 3 times and she was incredible just as she was in this video.

If not I can see why you may have thought the last line was said by me. I have edited my post so it now clearly shows that the last line was a quote made by zamyrabyrd in the comment section of the youtube video of this performance. I stated that the performance was wonderful, and exceptional.

Thank you for that, but as I said, I could see that it was very possible that it was my fault you were confused.
