Here's a video that I find very interesting: I've noticed on several occasions that Jackie seems to enter a momentary state of melancholy or introspection when she puts her hand to her brow or gets a very sad kind of expression during a break in the song (the 2:00 mark above). This home-made video of "Everytime" shows it as well (2:30), and also her performance of "Carrickfergus" displays what appears a sense of deep emotion related to her personal feeling about the lyrics. That is extraordinary from a child. It seems that she draws upon the "soul" of a song to bring it to outward expression through her voice. Then she pops back to a cheerful smile. Am I just imagining something? Or, are we witnessing a phenomenon?

That is extraordinary from a child. It seems that she draws upon the "soul" of a song to bring it to outward expression through her voice. Then she pops back to a cheerful smile. Am I just imagining something? Or, are we witnessing a phenomenon? I think you have noticed something that is very unique to Jackie from a very early age. David Foster said she glues herself to the track, but it is more than that. It appears she is channeling both the composer and lyricist with her interpretations which are different from any other artist recording same song. The Tiny Desk Concert video of Ombra Mai Fu is a wonderful example of this phenomenon where she uses facial expressions in addition to arm/body motion to convey deep emotion. And this song is about a tree! Her Dream With Me in Concert presentation of ‘Lovers’ was beyond belief that a ‘child’ could ‘feel’ the music. Her interviews have revealed that she does not want to ‘copy’ anyone’s style but rather create her own niche in the music world. Her ‘exploration’ into other genres is part of that plan that makes it difficult if not impossible to say she is a ‘Pop Artist’, or ‘Classical’ and makes her unique as no other. She is a perfectionist and as David Foster said, it is easy to be good, but she wants to be Great! Her bucket list still has many blanks to accomplish but when you look at her resume, considering she is only seventeen, I believe she will become the first ‘Crossover’ artist to actually combine ALL genres and be able to sing in any style. As was said on AGT, ‘she has the whole package’…Talent, Beauty, Brains, Wardrobe, Personality. There is no limit to what she can still achieve once she turns eighteen next year. IMHO..The best is yet to come!

At the 0:08 mark you can hear Lisa encouraging Jackie, saying, "we're going to make it through this", Lisa could have added the word , "beautifully", to her encouragement.

Performing "Angel" from her new album 'Dream With Me,' available everywhere June 14, Jackie was invited by YouTube to perform at Take Your Kids To Work Day in April 2011. She immediately wowed the crowd of parents and children with her amazing vocals which also helped her come in 2nd place on the 2010 season of America's Got Talent. Can you believe she's only 11 years old and already so talented?
Jackie has always been an ambassador for children. CL

After hearing some old recordings I went to an old musicstore and found this. I hope You enjoy this.....
.....fake. I read Jackie Evancho shall be pressed on venyl (or better her music), so I let work my computer a little. As You hear Jackie could sound as an adult if she would have lived in the 1940th. I hope You can enjoy, if not excuse me.
"Put it on antique roadshow it would be worth (for insurance purposes) $30,000 to $40,000, signed $100,000 +" -Youtube comment

I offer this for nostalgia, not only to reflect upon the way Jackie poured heart and soul into this, one of her favorite songs and mine as well, but more to see those 4 adorable characteristic gestures unique to Jackie displayed after her performance....pinching her dress, the twisty wiggle, the foot lift, and the Charleston heel-out with the two-handed wave, all in the same moment. Nobody but Jackie! What a delightful personality.

I bring this to nostalgia because this is another song we may never here again from Jackie, and because of the Disney clips

Not to mention the gestures she uses for emphasis all the way through the song, bringing her hands up to her heart, clenching and thrusting them forward or down. I can't get over how beautiful and affecting that is. Is there someone who can interpret body language like that? To me it is the perfect suggestion of openness and deep feeling - just like the song.

THIS IS IT: THE TRUTH ABOUT jACKIE EVANCHO A 49 minute auto-voice chronicle of Jackie's career with photo slide-show...reviews at 37:00.
Published Sept. 20, 2017
This recounting of Jackie's career is very factual, although some information may be debatable among those who are particularly knowledgeable. I am not in that group.

Click bait youtube video with robot voice. There are a million of them on every subject. They run basically what's on wikipedia through a voice synthesizer and wait for the clicks to pile up.

Does that make the information any less credible? Wikipedia doesn't have a slide-show. I listened to the whole video. Did you?

Absolutely no correlation between pictures and sound. A robot program is used to pluck pictures of a particular subject off the internet. Some human editing was done with sound and slides but probably 90% robot created. The motive is likely pure profit ("clicks"). Don
