Since good management is so important to an entertainer's degree of success, many of you are hoping that Jackie will break away from her current management when she turns 18 years of age. But is that likely to happen? It may be doubtful for at least two reasons: Jackie is strongly attached to her family and she may be satisfied with the way her career is going even if some of her fans are not. Jackie may be marching to a different drummer no matter how long her career lasts or how frustrated some of her fans get. How do you know she "" is strongly attached "" ? , do you have inside information ? , i do not believe she is satisfied , why would she ? the last two years are not very good even to her imo

Jackie is still younger here (13) than when Chloe Agnew released her version in 2004 (14 or 15?). I always felt that Jackie's version from HC 2011 was Superior to Chloe's. Chloe sings smoothly in a bright monochromatic tone without vibrato. Jackie's 2001 version, while not as smooth as Chloe's, just shimmers and comes alive. Chloe also had the advantage of a more interesting accompaniment which elevated her otherwise somewhat bland delivery. If you listen carefully to the 2011 recording, you can hear Jackie change her y's to eeees at the end of those notes which had them. Fly, by, sky, etc. She obviously did this so she could round out the tone giving it more of a bell tone. Why didn't she do that in the above performance? Is it because it's a cellphone recording and it's hard to hear them? This version is more polished than her 2011 HC version and I would still rank it above Chloe's 2004 album which I downloaded specifically because of that song. But in an effort to make a smoother delivery she lost some of that shimmer and bell tone quality. Still beautiful, but I rank it below her HC version. In between at about 12 years old i thought her tone was most outstandingly the best yet . Her " Lovers " is delightful . Yikes !!! did the beachguy say that ? , must have been hacked

Choice of 5 Songs It's impossible to state that any one song from each of Jackie's albums is a favorite of mine. They are so diversified, each distinctly unique in character, offering a different challenge with respect to story and meaning, expression and emotion, musical difficulty, language: and of course, each given to Jackie's personal interpretation. In the course of having listened often to the four major albums on continuous loop from DWM to Two Hearts 2, it's my opinion that one song on each album best exemplifies what I would most likely expect to hear from a young artist of an age appropriate to the story line, the emotion, and also demonstrates Jackie's extraordinary musical prowess and the exquisite beauty of her voice. These are not chosen above other songs, except that they best represent what I think most people would identify with, as opposed to songs such as Nella Fantasia, Lovers, Mi Mancherai, Se, Dormi Jesu, Ave Maria, Caruso and other personal favorites. Jackie expresses perfectly the character of each of these five songs in a way that moves me as incredibly honest and genuine with a heart felt sense of identity with the song. In my estimation each of them has warranted radio play and recognition for Jackie's incomparable talent. Given the challenge to choose only one song from each album including the pop disc, these are my selections. Where o where is cleonard ? ""incomparable"" , this is a person in Jackie La La land .

Some have determined to summarily dismiss Jackie's new album, base upon an assumption that it will be disappointing to them because they either dislike Broadway, or because they have a preconceived idea of what they expect from Jackie and are unwilling to accept anything that deviates from it. Don't forget that some of Jackie's most loved songs are from Broadway musicals, such as "Somewhere" from West Side Story, "Music of the Night" from Phantom Of The Opera, "The Impossible Dream" from The Man Of La Mancha, and five others in her repertoire.
I am again curious and enthused to hear what Jackie has to offer. I have always been interested in Jackie as an artist, not prone to judge her music by the song selections she makes. Rather, I consider Jackie a true and dedicated artist, unafraid to challenge herself with any kind of music that captures her interest. Music and the artistry of singing is about what touches an artist in whatever way inspires him or her to want to express the meaning and emotion of a song in a personal and intimate way. Regardless of the genre Jackie chooses for an album or the selections therein, I listen to that beautiful quality of her voice, her interpretation and the feeling she emotes from it. Jackie has a rare gift for making any song in any genre seem original to her. If one listens objectively, not trying to compare but losing one's self in her voice and what SHE is feeling, it's apparent that Jackie "becomes the music", and reveals herself through it in her own inimitable way. Her version of "Have You Ever Been In Love", for example, demonstrates her innate ability to identify with and express the intimacy of a song unlike any other cover she has sung. Jackie's music reveals who she is as she continually discovers herself.
For me, it's not a matter that Jackie may have chosen current or popular Broadway songs for this album (We haven't heard from her directly yet whether she has or hasn't). What matters is how she interprets them, how she chooses to use her voice in making them personal, offering them for us to appreciate as yet another example of her unique versatility and inner striving to explore her potential. That's what fascinates me about Jackie and continually stimulates my curiosity, wondering what she will come up with next and knowing that I will thoroughly enjoy it.
Music appreciation is the receptive side of creativity in whatever form it is presented. As Jackie has often said, she doesn't want to be limited in what she sings. That means to me that she will record whatever music moves or captures her and gives her satisfaction in singing. It isn't a choice she makes for approval or popularity but, like any dedicated artist, it is a need to express her love for singing in whatever genre she discovers a song that compels that need. If one's expectations of Jackie are limited, unfortunately, he or she will be disappointed often, and therefore have a limited appreciation. I don't mean that as a judgement, but rather it's my opinion that one will be missing "the Magic" that is the full scope of Jackie's artistry.

Jackie's vocal artistry from 9 to 19
These songs Jackie has never recorded, performed live, demonstrate her innate vocal artistry and expressiveness, untrained, genuine and unique, as she matured from 2009 to 2020. I selected them from the Danish fan website "Lyrics" list among those marked as unrecorded to show a progression. What is your observation from these performances with regard to significant changes or similarities evident in her artistic development as a vocalist/performer.
"I Will Always Love You" Debra Crosby's Talent Quest TV Show "Quest For The Best" Finale - Hard Rock Cafe 2/28/10 (age 9)
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" Cirque Du Soleil, ONE DROP charity event on 3/22/13 in Las Vegas (age 12/13)
"Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" Shenandoah Valley Music Festival, Orkney Springs VA 7/25/2015 (age 15)
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" In concert at Carmel 5/20/17 (age 17)
"True Colors" Masked Singer farewell sing-along performance from home est. March, 2020 (age 19)

So Jackie's artistry has become worse from a classical point of view and has moved more and more in the direction of pop. So it is understandable that people who liked Jackie's classic artistry say that Jackie has gotten worse.

Neither your opinion nor your videos are relevant to my question, "What is your observation from THESE PERFORMANCES (songs she has never recorded) with regard to significant changes or similarities evident in her artistic development as a vocalist/performer. They are not classical songs, and I did not ask for an observation of her classical artistry. If that were my interest, I would have offered recorded classical songs for observation. Thanks anyway. You might start a thread elsewhere on the subject of "Jackie's Classical Artistry" to entertain a discussion of your opinion.

"I Will Always Love You" or better "L’amore Sei Tu" since Italian is sung, very classically performed by Jackie "Bridge Over Troubled Water" very classically performed by Jackie. between 2011 and 2014, Jackie's classical singing was at its peak. "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" Musical. Phantom of the opera. Jackie stands there and sings. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" Jackie sings this song. What should be special about it? Many people sang it. It does not require great skill. "True Colors" Playback to a recording as you can see, worthless for me. This thread begins with a hymn of praise to Jackie's opera singing. Even then you wrote the same nonsense as today.

Zwergnase. I'm not going to keep quoting you and clutter up the thread with unnecessary repetition. I will clarify the meaning of vocal artistry for your understanding as I applied it in my comment.
"Vocal Artistry: The use of the various sounds the voice can make, within the rules of a specific genre or outside of genre rules used in a creative way to convey a message." -Synergistic Singing.
In other words, it is Jackie's particular way of interpreting a song, the techniques she uses, the artistry of her delivery, to which I refer in the preceding videos....songs she has never recorded. It has not to do with whether or not she measures up to classical standards of vocalization. Rather, how have her interpretive skills changed if at all in the examples I posted? In what way, for example, is "True Colors" different from "L'amore Sei Tu" artistically?

The main difference between "True Colors" and "L'amore Sei Tu" is that one is sung in a pop way and the other in a classical way. Jackie nowadays uses many pop techniques such as vocal fry, vocal breaks etc but also classical techniques (other pop singers do the same). All this has already been discussed here several times. Jackie has also sung "i will allways love you" in pop 2020 on Instagram. Jackie has no particular way of techniques, what should they be?

No one knows what you want. The main difference between "True Colors" and "L'amore Sei Tu" is that one is sung in a pop way and the other in a classical way. Speak for yourself. A classical song can be sung in various ways artistically and interpretively in conveying its message. That's what separates one ARTIST's rendition from another. It's not a matter of singing in "a classical way". Same with pop artists or any other genre. It's not a matter of singing in "a pop way". In what way specifically in an artistic sense? Another example of Jackie's artistry at age 9, "To Where You Are", with David Foster (click YouTube):
