The one nice thing about this thread is that you don't have to worry about going off topic.

Did you ever read something of interest at amz and then try to find it again a few days later? Good luck.

From Billboard 200: reflects bump for some pre-Inaugural performers:
"— 3 Doors Down, The Greatest Hits - No. 94 & Toby Keith, 35 Greatest Hits – No. 159 — Rock band 3 Doors Down and country star Toby Keith jump back onto the Billboard 200 chart following their performances at Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration concert on Jan. 19.
3 Doors Down’s The Greatest Hits reaches a new peak, as it re-enters at No. 94 with 6,000 units earned in the week ending Jan. 19 (up 151 percent) and 3,000 copies sold (up 359 percent). The album initially debuted and peaked at No. 100 back in 2012, and has been absent from the chart since April of 2016. Keith’s 35 Greatest Hits returns at No. 159 with 5,000 units (up 341 percent) and 2,000 copies sold (up 358 percent). Keith’s album debuted and peaked at No. 2 back in 2008.
Not on the Billboard 200, but posting a gain, is concert performers The Piano Guys, which hold at No. 1 on the New Age Albums chart with Uncharted (1,000 sold; up 29 percent).
As the latest tracking week only reflected one day of impact from the concert (Jan. 19), there could be further gains in the tracking week ending Jan. 26."
Jackie not included, because her public performance was January 20 and its effect will show on next week's chart. But still encouraging.

I made my initial post there maybe six months ago but Amz was the first Jackie site I found after youtube, maybe five years ago. I haven't missed many posts there since. It's good to read your inaugural (to use a topical term) post here. RO initiated this site as I'm sure you know. He and the rest of us are welcoming Amazonians. It'll be the go to place if the customer discussion boards are eliminated. It's also up and running right now for anyone over there who would like to dip a toe.

Jackie was recently on the Bubba Breakfast Show which is a local Pittsburgh morning radio show. She said Two Hearts will be released March 31 and will have some pop that will be a big surprise. She said we haven't heard her real pop yet. Jackie also said she has recently gone back to online school because of her schedule so she isn't in public school anymore. She also said she has been sick and lost her voice two days before she sang at the inauguration. She sings WOTW and SAS on this radio show live.

Jackie said this on her Facebook page:
"A new record deal with Sony and i can confirm the release of my new album "Two Hearts" on March 31st. Im also releasing an ep of pop songs i wrote on the same day. #twohearts"
This has led to speculation that they will be released separately. I think they will be released as a two volume set. What do you think?

I prefer a physical CD. Maybe because I grew up with vinyl, and like something real. (And I started computing with punched cards I started with 7" Floppies and punch tape and acoustic date couplers at 300 baud! Like Robinb, I started with punched cards. More precisely, I started with coding sheets in college and someone punched the cards for me.

People are saying LGG didn't make a political statement at the SB. Not true. She sang BOTH God Bless America & This Land Is Your Land, a political statement imploring us to stay together. Woody Guthrie wrote TLIYL as a direct response to Irving Berlin's GBA, sort of a left wing response to what he thought was an excessively right wing song. www.npr.org/2000/07/03/1076186/this-land-is-your-land

She also sang Born This Way, which has become something of an LGBTQ anthem. Good point. It was an all-inclusive performance. Maybe it was her way of echoing Obama's 2004 speech about the United States of America.

www.nytimes.com/2017/02/05/technology/trumps-fcc-quickly-targets-net-neutrality-rules.html?emc=edit_nn_20170207&nl=morning-briefing&nlid=70308836&te=1
WASHINGTON — In his first days as President Trump’s pick to lead the Federal Communications Commission, Ajit Pai has aggressively moved to roll back consumer protection regulations created during the Obama presidency.
Mr. Pai took a first swipe at net neutrality rules designed to ensure equal access to content on the internet. He stopped nine companies from providing discounted high-speed internet service to low-income individuals. He withdrew an effort to keep prison phone rates down, and he scrapped a proposal to break open the cable box market.
In total, as the chairman of the F.C.C., Mr. Pai released about a dozen actions in the last week, many buried in the agency’s website and not publicly announced, stunning consumer advocacy groups and telecom analysts. They said Mr. Pai’s message was clear: The F.C.C., an independent agency, will mirror the Trump administration’s rapid unwinding of government regulations that businesses fought against during the Obama administration.
“With these strong-arm tactics, Chairman Pai is showing his true stripes,” said Matt Wood, the policy director at the consumer group Free Press.

Mike Busby, what part of this do you not understand.
"Politics is not allowed on this thread so don't even try. Your post will be deleted."
I have deleted all of your political posts on this thread. You have created new political threads that I have also deleted. This has got to stop. This is a Jackie fan forum not your personal political soapbox.
Members do not like having to wade through your political posts in Recent Posts to find one about Jackie. I don't like it either. Please stop this before we have to take further action. Post something about Jackie for a change.

I had gophers (mole) that kept digging in my yard. I tried all the usual remedies. Kept coming back. Finally my ferocious weenie dog dug them up. Just like the one with the lion on our funny videos. Some times you have to use excessive force to get rid of a pain in the a$$. I'm thinking what's his name will persist like that pestering mole.
