This was when she was only 12 years old - second PBS Great Performance - No MC - She was THE WHOLE SHOW! Her poise, grace, manners and complete stage presence were amazing. At that time for me, she proved that she was not just a flash in pan act... she was preparing for greatness. Just her body of work with over 100 solo concerts, singing duets with some of the icons of music, adopting David Foster as her 'Music Dad' over the course of 6 (or 8) years is amazing. I do not know of any teenager that could come close to matching her resume. Her interviews have all been gracious and informative with maturity beyond her years, yet she has that humility that we all love. I think her destiny is pretty well set. As she says, Singing is what I do!

When I tell friends about Jackie and ask them to read Wikipedia ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackie_Evancho ) to get an idea about her, I always get a call next morning and they say just one word: unbelievable. In just 6 or 7 years, she experienced more than most of us would ever experience in their whole live. This young Lady is really an exception!

By chance I listened yesterday to Reflection (from Music of the Movies) on Jackies channel and imediatelly after that to the same video which I had already downloaded 2 years ago from Jackie's VEVO channel, and I noticed a small difference in sound quality, in fact the version on Jackie's channel sounds a bit better. After further investigation I found that all the Music of the Movies videos from Jackies VEVO channel (which I had already downloaded 2 years ago) - although having high resolution 1280x720 - had only audio quality of 64.0 kb/s. The same videos on Jackie's channel now have lower resolution 640x360, but the audio quality is higher - 96.0 kb/s! Of course I could always watch and listen to the DVD, but for me it's more convenient just to watch and listen to a video, if I'm just in the mood for one specific song. So just in case you do the same and have already the Music of the Movies videos from the VEVO channel and you prefer better sound over higher video resolution (as I do), then get the videos from Jackie's channel again, the sound quality is better, it really makes a difference!
