Hey, look. They keep a box of tissues backstage. The word is out. They should have preparedness drills for Jackie Effect, like the air raid drills they had us do when we were kids. Jr has a special box of Jackie Evancho Kleneex tissue. He got them at a concert. they have a Jackie photo inside the box. The caption is For Those Very Special Moments. Dad will never use them they are too special. I just hand him my pink silk hankie at concerts of Jackie.

ragnarok, I have downloaded your video from Dropbox and uploaded it to my youtube channel. I hope you don't mind. It now has sound. They all seemed to know her and really enjoyed the song , i think Jackie has had some coaching on interviews of late , she seems more relaxed and not looking for perfect words , just being herself like with the car ,not waiting just for questions , of course this is only what i see and hear , plus i believe she could do more with this song with a singing coach buy again my opinion , perhaps i am at the point of wanting more from her of personality in a song

Makes me want everybody to see it. And if I may venture a little out of my area of competence, Jackie is looking sharp! IM very HO, better than the tight dresses.

BG: "...she seems more relaxed..." PGA: Yes, she did very well in the interview, & the performance was great. Also agree about the coach. No matter how good you are, it's always good to have an outside perspective. Chris: "Jr has a special box of Jackie Evancho Kleneex tissue." PGA: As do I. They were specially made by Charles Hoff (Trancas), who passed away in September. Of course I'll never use them either! Is the show taped in New Orleans? Do we know?

She will look wonderful in whatever style her hair is in, as long as it is not chopped off.

Every time she does well, or improves, it's: she must have been coached? I prefer to give her the credit. However, I have noticed over the years, she seems more relaxed with some people than others.

Agree schrodinger, she's more relaxed in interviews. I meant a singing coach, as I think BG mentioned, not an interview coach. I like to compare it to what happened to figure skater Michelle Kwan. (My late wife had been a professional figure skater when she was younger, & Michelle was her favorite skater.) She & her long-time coach mutually parted ways a few months before the 2002 Olympics. People thought that if anyone could do it without a coach, she could, since she'd been world champion 5 times & was a veteran by then. Well, she didn't skate well & didn't win. Was it due to not having a coach? I think it might have been connected; she looked ever-so-slightly lost somehow on the ice. No matter how good you are as a performer (of any kind), a compatible coach can help you. That's the way I feel about Jackie & a singing coach. She did well with Yvie Burnett, e.g.

I should have asked ragnarok's permission before I uploaded his video to my youtube channel. I apologize for that. It's just that I really wanted to see it and I know the other fans did too. Now it's on youtube where everyone can see it. If he wants me to remove it I will.

To confirm earlier, I got this via email today.... This email is an automated notification from Dropbox that your Public links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic. Your Dropbox will continue to function normally with the exception of Public links. For more information on suspended links, please visit the Help Center. If this is your first suspension, you may remove the suspension by visiting your account page. - The Dropbox Team Hopefully this won't permanently damage your account with them. But the larger question is where did this "excessive traffic" come from? Did you post the link on Amzn or elsewhere? Our discussion site has barely 100 members; how could we have triggered it? The whole thing seems odd. It would seem that one person accessing someone's dropbox may be sufficient in the future. Rick was able to access your vid & post it on YouTube; if there is no copyright complaint, presumably it can stay up there.

We currently have the free plan, which is probably restricted as to how many can access a public link within a certain period of time. I suspect the amount of public access is not much unless you pay for it. Access now is shut off until I go into my account and turn it back on. I got another email saying that after March of next year, dropbox will be private access only, regardless of what plan you have. It still seems odd. IIRC, pa1189 used to post temporary dropbox links on Amzn that'd be active for 24 hours or less. IDK if he'd paid for extra public access. Maybe they've changed their criteria? When they say "private only" in March 2017, what is their definition of "private"? Only people who have registered with them?

Those were made and gifted by the late Charles Hough (Trancas); I received mine at the Phoenix concert, the last time I had the pleasure to see him. (I still have and won't use mine either!) He was similarly generous after the joint Jackie/Tony Bennett concert in California when he gave me a pre-issue dub of both MOM and SFTSS which we had seen filmed at the Orpheum. He was a true Jackie fan and is missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Charles was a prince among men. He gave me my (treasured) Jackie tissues at the Dallas concert, 2011 Aug 31.

It's alive! I reinstated my Dropbox Pro account and sent the bill to Trump. When I attempt to play the video, I can temporarily see the volume unmuted and then it mutes permanently. Apparently, proboards cannot handle an H264 format mp4 file correctly, although videos with an extension of '.mp4' are said to be supported. The file plays audio and video without issue locally here on my PC. Rick downloaded the file before Dropbox stopped any more plays and he installed the file on youtube, where it worked without issue. I would request that those who posted the original video (not the youtube video) please edit and remove the video so that others are not confused when trying to play it. Thanks, R: "I reinstated my Dropbox Pro account and sent the bill to Trump." PGA: ROTFLMAO! Could Dropbox have seen our attempts to play the non-working vids as "traffic" to their site? I know I copied a post or two (probably yours), just to say they didn't work for me. I'll delete them.
