I sometimes hear the most enchanting songs on a television movie or a commercial, wondering, who IS that? I peruse the credits for the artist's name, search for their work and usually find they've recorded only a few songs or just that one. They are little gems, I posted a few videos of Lily Kershaw on page 19 who sang the closing songs for three episodes of the TV series, Criminal Minds. This is another gem. Joanna Barber is an unknown artist, as far as I know, who sang this closing song for the Criminal Minds episode "Submerged" in 2017. I think it's a hauntingly beautiful story-song. Joanna Barber

This is how you should sing our National Anthem. You said it! Miss Gladys showed them how to do it.

A personal statement. For me, this is the most beautiful voice of all time.. I have hope that Jackie will achieve this level in time. She has shown the potential.

I recently commented that Karen and Jackie were my two all time favorites.
Karen was during my college years and I played their songs for weddings. One things about them, they put out a tons of albums and I never found a bad recording. All their songs, even the B side were great. Of all the Non-popular ones, my favorite was 'I Know I Need To Be In Love.' What else is amazing, she died in the '80's and they are on the Classical charts now. Maybe, when I'm 105 I will tell someone I knew Jackie when she was 10.

Tony Joe White - passed Wednesday, October 24th 2018. He was 75.

Published by leibnitz0030810 (Feb 17, 2019) who states:
"Those who kept honoring their skills remained at the top of their game. Others from the first child prodigy video I made disappeared from the spotlight".
Jackie appears at 5:48

This is about the new pop sensation, 17 year old Billie Eilish, who writes, produces and records her own songs with her brother, Finneas, and apparently is an independent. She's a sensation, because her voice, sound and originality are haunting. Even I like it. Partly, because she's a real musician who does its all, and I admire that. And partly because she's not taking the cheap way out and just selling sex by stripping off. She doesn't have to, because the emotional impact of her songs are absolutely authentic. That's what comes of creating your own stuff, as the Beatles and Stones and some others in the early days of rock did. I don't expect Jackie to compete with her. She doesn't have the skill set. Ever more reason for Jackie to drop the pop idea and be glad to guest with local symphonies, play cabarets and if she gets some acting training, audition for a musical. Edit: Forgot. This is the Billboard piece about Billie Eilish: A Pop Star Is Born: Billie Eilish Arrives With a Beautifully Flawed Debut Album www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/8504706/billie-eilish-debut-album-review-when-we-all-fall-asleep … via @billboard

That girl is going to go really far in the business. Perhaps, a Grammy Award in her future. :-)
