I think the more videos shared the better, poor quality or not. It can only serve to get Jackie out to more and more people. I think Jackie's biggest problem in so far as notoriety is exposure. A video shared with me by my father is how I found Jackie and it only makes sense to me that more videos, shared by more people the more people that will have a "Jackie Experience" and want to know more, buy her music and attend her concerts. Many bands encourage their fans to take videos and post them, I think JE Touring should do the same.

Just to clarify, I love the sound and its about time. I always expected Jackie to do something that not apologetic to her older audience. I'm not an advocate for a change, but diversity. This album is shaping up very nicely. I really like the idea of this song and the other more crossover songs we have heard. They all grow on me without me having to put on my classical hat. My preferred genre is grunge, but diverse, this is an album that could sit comfortably amongst my normal stuff.
Personally DWM is my favourite album, but it is a DF album not a JE album, but there are other songs that are total standouts. I expect Jackie will be 3 or more albums from having settled down into a style of her own. This is plenty of time for her to mature and gain the skills business wise required to deal with this cut throat industry.
However If she nails this one, even if it doesn't sell massively it will still sit in her back catalogue for people to buy once they discover her from future albums. So far this album is shaping up very nicely.

The only people who know what mix of social media vs. non-social media advertising is planned for the future is the artist and the label. What makes sense to us would totally change if we knew the answer to this, even the labels get this wrong and they have all the data. We never even know if the artist is holding back material until they can renegotiate a contract, which happens quite often. So the plan of mix between advertising mediums is very complex depending on weather an artist is planning on going independent or signing to another label in the future. Best thing we can do is honour the wishes of the artist.

I expect I'll like this song on the album, unless it's one of those songs where the studio version is less inspiring than a live version. I wonder if Jackie wrote both the lyrics and music. If so, that must be quite interesting to write for your own voice when it's one such as Jackie's. It's funny seeing Jackie backed by a rock band. I've wondered at times if Jackie ever sings with her peers that play instruments. Jackie performed in a club her last concert in L.A. proper. It had a bar in the back, the whole nine yards.

She did?!? What was the venue? It was when Jackie's Nokia Theater concert was downsized to Club Nokia.

Maybe TeamE decided to perform the new songs at concerts first to drum up more interest in the album(?).

Or more perhaps Sony or who ever is paying the bills for album Drumming up interest in the album would be in Jackie's & Sony's interest, whoever is paying for the bulk of the album. I'm sure they (both Jackie & Sony) want to at least make their money back & get more returns if possible. It seems that Dina Fanai & Heather Holley are involved in writing & producing some of the new songs, so sales would presumably help them too.

A bit hard to hear, but I liked what I could hear. Violins and drums seemed to be drowning her out. I am very anxious to hear the studio recording.

We should try to get view counts up. I like the melody. It's starting to become an ear worm, LOL.
