When the 55+ crowd starts to complain in general then we will know she is definitely aiming for a new crowd. There has been some complaining here about her torn jeans (not by me), but she hasn't worn them on stage of course. Also I think that some didn't like her recent choice of a polar bear outfit in her performance with Matt E.

What is unusual in this photo? I don't mean Jackie's legs.

Jackie's Make-up
Comments about Jackie's make-up abound from approval to rude criticism, often without thought to the occasion. For example, Jackie did a make-up session video prior to a past concert, demonstrating the products she likes and how she applies them according to the image she has in mind for the circumstance. Some were surprised she does her own make-up for performances. I am not, given Jackie's independent nature when it comes to her taste in professional fashion and given her artistic inclinations. Immediately comments appeared saying it was too heavy and unnecessary, making her look cheap, too sexy, etc. Apparently some don't understand the necessity for accentuated make-up for the stage. Jackie is an artist and applies her make-up with artistic attention to complimenting hues in balancing eye shadow, eyebrows, mascara and lipstick to create an image she determines appropriate to her attire and hair color (which changes on occasion), and with consideration to the lighting at a particular venue.
Notice should be made that Jackie prefers a natural look and is not at all reticent to be photographed without make-up, but realizes the necessity for more dramatic effects when the situation demands. Most often her daily appearance (on the street, if you will), as we see in candid shots, is conservatively appealing and generally subtle and sensible. She is a beautiful woman, and although very self conscious, realizes that make-up is not a compensation for whatever defects she perceives, or a means to "over-Sexualize" her appearance, but a carefully considered art form. I think she is quite adept at presenting herself appropriately for whatever the occasion requires or doesn't require, from heavier eye shadow and darker lips for the stage to a visage naturel (that's French for plain Jane) in the studio, or in front of the camera delivering a "sleepy time" instagram message from home.
Some folks just can't help making judgments, usually from thoughtless first impressions, or sometimes from just plain ignorance, often disappointed in some way that Jackie isn't meeting some preconceived expectation. Anyway, just thought it an interesting topic that might stimulate some discussion.

I think some fans/non fans just need to chill out and let JE dress and wear make-up like any normal 19 yo teenage girl does. P.S. I'm well aware that CL has BLOCKED me, but as a friendly reminder, I don't block back. So, I will continue to comment on them.

One might get the impression that one might be playing for the other team? 🤔

One might get the impression that one might be playing for the other team? 🤔 What's the matter, johnny...afraid a discussion of Jackie's make-up might make you seem less a man? I don't know any more about it than you do. But, anyone who has a wife and/or daughter has seen the time and attention they put into making themselves appear more attractive with make-up, whatever the occasion may be. Most young women are sensible about it, some not. Male performers and actors have to use make-up for stage and film, sometime subtle, sometimes dramatic. That doesn't diminish their masculinity. Having watched her video, I can appreciate Jackie's applying her artistic talent to enhancing her natural beauty with good taste in make-up choices for the stage. I'm sure you've seen it. Pi$$ off with your innuendo.
