I just bought my tickets! The Orchestra Center section was already sold out and the section behind THAT was close to sold out. I was able to get two seats in Row G only 7 rows from the stage but over in Orchestra Right closer to the wall than I would've liked. Looking forward to seeing other Jackie Fans at the get-together! I'm glad there are decent seats available... My travel now puts me back in town about 7:00pm on the 20th, so I can make this one too! I'll be in the same row as you James. This will only be my second concert (Midland was my first) and I didn't think I'd be around for it when it was announced so I didn't look to buy any tickets in advance. Hopefully my wife will come with me, but if not, I'm sure my son would fill in again. If there's a list for the fan gathering, add me +1, and I'll look forward to seeing you folks in person.

Got my ticket. (Seat M111) Y'all can expect me at the Fan Gathering, as well. Those tend to be fun and educational!

Good to see this concert selling well. And it will be the first post-holidays concert. You guys will be the first to hear some of the new stuff. Over Thanksgiving, Fix You was the only new song.

Will her appearance at the inauguration possibly cause this concert to be cancelled? It is the next day. I wouldn't worry about that. She'll only be flying half-way across the country. She travels twice that far for west coast concerts. I'd worry more about her contracting mono, as her sister has. I missed out on Tex-Mex food, margaritas and what would have been the first Awakening concert when Jackie had walking pneumonia and cancelled San Antonio.

Will her appearance at the inauguration possibly cause this concert to be cancelled? It is the next day. That was my thought too. It's not all that easy getting to/from the middle of the country on a tight schedule. It's easier (and often cheaper) to fly all the way across the country than it is to fly to/from the middle of the country. I know this all too well, living in Oklahoma. If the family chooses to fly to Dallas & rent a car from there, they will have plenty of options. Although with that, the drive from Dallas is about 2 hours. If they want to fly into Tyler, TX, I am seeing only one flight that will get them there in time, from DFW to Tyler. They'll need to make that connection at DFW. Either way, it will be tight. Fingers crossed for this concert.

Somehow I doubt Jackie will want to hang around DC for the afternoon & evening. She'll sing in the AM (since the swearing in is usually at noon & she's singing before it), then get out of town & fly to Tyler. She'll have plenty of time to get some rest for rehearsal & concert the next day. Not to worry...

Well... the wife and I have a 5 bedroom home about two hours west of Tyler... in case she needs a place to chill.

Since it's early, that will give her plenty of time.

You can bet she will leave as quickly as she can. "E"s are rather lib. not conserv's.

Ok, this is post-Christmas. There is room for four more songs. Any guesses about what they might be?

You can bet she will leave as quickly as she can. "E's are rather lib. not conserv's. " I wouldn't be so sure about this. From the beginning, they've worked with people & politicians of both parties. Repub PA State Rep Jane Orie was instrumental in having Jackie sing for the 2009 Sep 11 Flight 93 Memorial. We all know she worked with Redford & filed the Juliet bathroom lawsuit, sang for Obama twice & met Trump several years ago. And of course she's singing at the inauguration. She's also appeared on multiple media, including Fox, NBC & others. If the E's were strongly biased to one side or the other, they would have favored only one side, which they haven't done. Edit: E.g., a dedicated liberal wouldn't have worked with Rep Orie, gone on Fox or agreed to sing at the Trump inauguration. A dedicated conservative wouldn't have worked with Redford or handled the Jake/Juliet situation the way they did, & might not even have sung for Obama or gone on media like NBC.
