The concerts at Florida for the Night of Romance were selling out, they added an additional night or perhaps two if my memory serves me right. Who really knows what is going on with Jackie. Lets hope nothing serious has affected her and her ability to perform in the future. As for working with Jonas Myrin, who knows what will come out of that. Is Jackie working on a new album? Is she co-writing songs with Jonas? Did the music production company that he has worked with ask Jackie to lend backup vocals- perhaps for a new album he is working on or did Jackie record a duet with him? We will never know. It is easier to get classified documents released from the government then to get any info from the Evancho's. I wouldn't expect to hear anything personal and private like contract negotiations or if Juliet went all out crazy with jealousy and for some reason caused the cancellations.LOL. Who knows. It's fun to speculate but in all honesty, the Evancho's should have let Jackie's fans know what was going on if it was only the flu. They owe that to us. It's also respectful.

Thanks for the heads up, Willyiam. Much appreciated, because there is no Classical Crossover station in my area. Just a Classical station that tries to delight me every Saturday morning with The Met. Opera. I bookmarked the link for a pleasant alternative.

Mostly from Awakening though.

These are some of the more familiar artists I've heard: The Tenors, Sarah Brightman, 2Chellos, Katherine Jenkins, Il Volo, Josh Groban, The Piano Guys, Bocelli......nice variety of contemporary CC. Jackie's "Memories" played right after an intrumental of "Se".

It does appear that everything which they play by Jackie is from Awakening.

I suspect they select one album for each artist, giving them 10-12 songs to choose for the playlist. Yes, it would be great if they considered Jackie's younger voice. I'm pleased they are playing so many of the Awakening songs, though, which may be more compatible with the other artists. Hope they respond to your request, curtis.

Is there a reason that you did not include disc one of Two Hearts?
Having listened now to that feed for several hours total on three occasions, I wonder what their definition of Classical Crossover is. Can a strictly instrumental song be Classical Crossover? They play that too.

They play that too. This is an excerpt from Wikipedia, "Classical Crossover": Classical crossover broadly encompasses both classical music that has become popularized and a wide variety of popular music forms performed in a classical manner or by classical artists. It can also refer to collaborations between classical and popular performers, as well as music that blends elements of classical music (including operatic and symphonic) with popular music (including pop, rock, middle of the road, and Latin, among other types). Pop vocalists and musicians, opera singers, classical instrumentalists, and occasionally rock groups primarily perform classical crossover. Although the phenomenon was long common in the music world, the name "classical crossover" was coined by record companies in the 1980s.

I also contacted their support team, and requested songs from Two Hearts, and attached MP3 files for Caruso, Attesa, May It Be, The Way WE Were, and Have You Ever Been In Love. Those are my personal favorites, but I suggested they should also play How Great Thou Art, Mama, and A Thousand Years. Maybe if enough of us place requests, they will hear us !!

It appears to me that some are impatient, wanting Jackie to fulfill their personal ideas of what direction she should take with her music. It's all well-intended, I suppose, but seemingly more a prescription for their own satisfaction and not necessarily hers. Jackie is a dedicated artist who sings for the joy it gives her, doing what she loves. The applause of satisfied audiences has been her reward, and the bank account a well deserved consequence. But, more than that it's who she is.
As with any true artist, her music is the avenue through which she expresses herself. It has to be congruent with what pleases her as she strives to discover her niche. Jackie's exceptional versatility has done well for her in that regard, exploring different genres, and continually expanding her repertoire with songs that challenge her interpretive abilities and vocal skills. All the while, she has gained valuable experience, pleased a greater number of listeners than she had imagined, and made history in the process.
But, like a young and highly talented fine artist, perhaps Jackie hasn't get decided which medium best expresses her inner yearning. It requires experimentation, and I suspect it will take some courage, persistence and time before it will manifest in her unique way. Whatever she decides upon eventually, I'm sure she's aware that it won't please everyone. She'll lose those who are disappointed or become disenchanted and gain those for whom it was intended. Others like me will be entertained and moved by her voice as usual.
Jackie will determine the prescription for her own fulfillment, and we can only let the path toward it unfold as it will. Of course her voice and choice of music, like fine art, are a matter of subjective taste to be appreciated or to be rejected at any time. But, Jackie's apparent integrity tells me her artistry as a singer will always be the expression of who she is, in whatever form it takes along the way.
