If there's a music video of one of the unreleased tracks to coincide with the EP release, that would be great.

The exact meaning of the EP title needs to come from Jackie as it is an unusual name. For all we know, it was a name that just happened to be blurted out during a spitballing session trying to come up with a title for the EP. However, we do have the following known uses of the word Solla: (1) Solla is Spanish and from the Galician word plaice and is used as a nickname for a fisherman. (2) Solla is a village in the Binah Prefecture in the Kara Region of northeastern Togo. The Miyobe language is spoken there. (3) SOLLA stands for School of Languages and Liberal Arts that is located in Penang, Malaysia.

But I think the most promising is the Latin meaning, which is apparently the female version of a word that means whole or unbroken. That provides an optimistic counterweight to songs about difficulties, suggesting NO SURRENDER to difficulties. :-)

"The Tamil word "solla" means "to speak" or "to tell" in English. It is a verb used to indicate the act of expressing something verbally."
