Jackie went to the patter introducing "Blue" right after "Misty", so "Think of Me" and "Blue" were reversed from the program; she noted that after "Blue", saying words to the effect that she was so eager to do the new song that she'd skipped ahead. Encore not listed was OMBC/ND medley. "Old Devil Moon" and "Selections from Anastasia" were instrumentals performed by the Ocean City Pops. Briefly, as always, she looked happy to be performing live, and clearly enjoyed playing with a capable (if small) orchestra. Her voice was as good as ever, and given yesterday's activities, she definitely had a tan. She was a bit unsteady while taking a bow hand in hand with the conductor after the last listed song, trouble with the long dress. For the bow after the encore, they were both clearly being careful. As for "Blue", look for the Joni Mitchell original to get the general idea. The range is not what's difficult, and the agility is not that much more difficult; but it's something that must have taken some study to follow and relate to. Not having heard the original first, I can't say which I like better (accompaniment as I recall was for most of the song just the piano), but the interpretation of a disquieting song seemed faithful enough to the intent of it. Not a comfort food song, but maybe something to stretch a performer's interpretive skills. The conductor gives every evidence of being effective for a capable small pops orchestra (played the piano himself in place of the pianist for one number, forgot which one) and enjoying his job, and noted that Jackie was a pleasure to work with, and that had it not been for COVID cancellations, his first performance on assuming the conductorship would have been Jackie shortly after her reveal as Kitty on TMS, where she'd done a variety of songs quite different from her usual repertoire.

Awesome report...she looks like she's having a blast, as I'm sure you did.
