We would need to not mention the Houston Astros. Don't know if I could keep silence.

Interesting who is promoting this concert: www.metropolitanpresents.com/"Metropolitan Entertainment Consultants LLC is a New York City based multi-faceted entertainment company led by industry leader John Scher, one of the most respected independent concert promoters in the U.S. Its live entertainment division, run by Senior Producer Ian Noble, has presented a vast array of artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Diana Krall, George Thorogood, Bonnie Raitt and Diana Ross. In addition to being a preeminent presenter of world class rock and pop live entertainment, Metropolitan produced the Tony Award-winning Liza’s at The Palace, a limited engagement Broadway theatre run starring Liza Minnelli. An artist management division and independent record label are also under the Metropolitan umbrella." Ian NobleJohn ScherSome more stuff about promoter John Scher: (1) www.nj.com/entertainment/music/2012/01/john_scher_four_decades_of_bri.html(2) www.app.com/story/entertainment/music/2015/11/13/asbury-park-concert-promoter-john-scher/75617540/(3) backstreets.com/scher.html(4) An amusing tidbit was that John Scher purchased The Capital Theater of Passaic, New Jersey in the early 1970's. He also purchased the adjacent building and refurbished the stage, dressing rooms, etc, adding an in-house video system. He had rock concerts at night, some of which were recorded. From April 6, 1973, during the day he ran XXX movies. The theater closed in 1986. Soon after the theater was put up for sale, a fire occurred. The building was eventually demolished in April 1991. NOTE: The Marshall Tucker Band concert from February 18, 1977 was recorded and later released on December 4, 2007 as part of a CD/DVD package. This is the only known footage of a complete concert by the band's original members. (5) Beginning in 1981, John Scher started promoting shows at Meadowlands Arena, later known as Giants Stadium. He was particularly close to Bruce Springsteen and The Grateful Dead working with them both for many years and promoting some of their largest concerts on the East Coast. (6) Among others, John Scher managed The Allman Brothers Band for awhile. Warren Haynes was recruited for guitar and vocals in 1989 when the band was re-united. My old brother-in-law Lincoln is a professional musician who was the bassist for what was the original The Warren Haynes Band in the early 1990's. For awhile, they were the opening band for The Allman Brothers Band concerts (Warren did double duty). I and my kids got to be backstage at one of the Great Woods Center concerts. Lincoln played bass and fretless bass on Warren's first solo album in 1993, Tales of Ordinary Madness. Much later Lincoln was the bassist with Warren for the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration tours over several years (live concert held at Red Rocks was broadcast on AXS TV - there are YouTube videos of some of the full concerts - Lincoln is the silver haired bassist). One of the backup singers was from the Pittsburgh opera and knew of Jackie. Amazing how small the music world is, especially at the upper levels.

I don't think this was ever posted on Jackie's website!! Also, it would appear that Will Nunziata, her concert director, was not involved with this concert.
the New York Society for Ethical Culture still has her listed for Dec. 6th, but the Metropolitan Presents link shows as above.
Maybe it's sold out! That's why "Tickets are not currently on sale"!
EDIT: Interesting! This page says Will Nunziata directed this concert, but it's not on his Facebook page. "Christmas in New York with Jackie Evancho and Friends. Written and directed by Will Nunziata. Friday, December 6th at The Concert Hall!"

Considering how poor sales were when the seating chart was last posted, it is unlikely that it is sold out.

Just got an email saying the concert has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. More likely due to poor ticket sales.
This is the third Jackie concert to which I have had tickets - all in the NYC area - that has been cancelled. Jackie seems to draw better in affluent suburbs than big cities. She seems to draw best in upscale retirement communities.
