My name is Rick Olsen. I live in Greenville Michigan. I have 3 cats, Phoenix, Sampson, and Brandie. I love them with all my heart. I have been a Jackie fan since August 11, 2010 the day after her first AGT appearance when I saw the video on youtube. I prefer DWM to the stuff she is doing now.

My name is Christopher, and I'm here to promote Jackie and her music. I thoroughly enjoy all her albums. I'm particularly impressed by her versatility and her courage to explore her potential, venturing into different genres from Classical to Broadway, successfully in my opinion. She is dedicated, hard-working and devoted to singing what inspires her without reservation or compromising her artistic integrity. She has my support.

I'm Gordon or here at this forum Gordie. I am here at this fan forum because I've never been a "fan" of any performer before Jackie. It is not to say that I do not care for music of other performers it is because I was never prepared to be captured by the sound of a voice and certainly not that of a child that sounded like a young adult.
I came across an AGT video while searching the internet looking for material and background info about Sarah Brightman. Jackie was still on AGT and I managed to see her September 2010 clip when it first appeared and at that moment I was totally captivated.
Jackie's DWM DVD on PBS was magic and a masterpiece produced by David Foster who is from the same city that I am from. DWM music was most suitable for Jackie's child prodigy vocals. However now as a young adult I believe that her vocals are more suited to The Debut which is excellent listening music. Jackie reminds me very much of Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion. I believe Jackie's career should head in that direction perhaps even to be the next Celine Dion in Las Vegas.
The bottom line is that there is enough variety in Jackie that she is able to satisfy most everyone's listening pleasure from time to time --- so get on the bus, there are still seats available because this ride is not over by a long shot.

I'm 9x19.
Yeah, yeah, but I have gone by that on the web since the mid 90s, so. For those who must have a name, call me Rob
I'm a fan of Jackie's music since her AGT days, although I am hoping she will find her way back to the kind of music that drew me in. She has lots of time, I suspect.
I've only been to a single concert and that was a few years back on her Awakening tour, but it was a very good one.

What a surprise - I'm James N.!
Like most members here, I'm getting up in years and will turn 73 this fall; happily, I'm still in good health and take very few pills or other junk like that and - knock on wood - so far have NO trouble getting around. I'm a native Texan but like to get out-of-state as often as possible, preferably to scenic and historic sites, particularly of the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries back East. Many years ago I dabbled in community theatre and even spent a season as an opera "super" or spear-carrier. Although my nominal careers have been primarily as a teacher or in retail sales, I have worked as an extra or advisor on several historical movies and television series: The Blue and the Gray; North & South, Part II; The Mississippi; Ironclads; Alamo - The Price of Freedom; Glory; and Last of the Mohicans. My avatar shows me on the beach at Jekyll Island, Ga. with veteran actor Morgan Freeman during a break in filming the battle scenes for Glory in Spring, 1989.
I first saw Jackie in fall '10 on some daytime talk show (Oprah maybe?) that occurred after her appearance on AGT and was struck by her age, voice, and poise; enough so, to make a note of her name when a short time later I saw a photo of her on Yahoo. I remembered her when during the first week of the release of DWM in stores to buy a copy. Naturally I now have all her cd's - one a pirate of the otherwise unavailable PTAD thanks to Mr SG! - and dvd's plus her calendar and two or three programs and innumerable souvenir concert buttons. This February marked my sixteenth concert attended; hopefully there will be more! I like to say that I've seen Jackie live under extreme conditions - the very first time in Dallas it was 102 outside - later in Minneapolis one January evening it was 2; I've flown to both coasts to attend filming of two PBS specials, the Orpheum Theatre in downtown LA for MOTM and Longwood Gardens at Chad's Ford, Pa. for Awakening.
