This song is captivating to me. Jackie's harmonies are wonderfully subtle, almost melodic yet supportive. They begin at 1:44 through to 3:00, pick up again at 3:18. And, her vibrato would put a baby to sleep.
Comment:
"Her voice like a soothing lullaby helping me to fall peacefully into a restful place.. or a leaf gently falling to a soft forest floor, swinging back and forth with each first part of a line of lyric and then a little gust from below carries it a little higher again when the voice goes almost falsetto at the end of a line. Two drifts down and one up again... easing on down.... Ahhhh"
