Not a bad crowd but I'm looking forward to the day when she sells out Red Rocks 3 days on a row! 😁 🌟 🎶 🎵 🤩 ❤️ A cool statue at The Smith Center For The Performing Arts, Las Vegas, Nevada. Ceiling of the Smith Center For The Performing Arts, Las Vegas, Nevada A few photographs from Harrah's Lake Tahoe and The Smith Center For The Performing Arts in Las Vegas. I forget the cello player's name. In Lake Tahoe, when she dedicated one of her songs to her sister Juliet and said she really admired her, somebody, started clapping and a fair number of people joined in. It could have been me that started and I was going to, regardless of whether anybody else did, but I think somebody beat me to it. In Las Vegas, at a much larger venue, I did start it, but nobody else joined in. I suppose in a larger audience it's harder for people to buck the trend. At least I'd like to think that's the reason why. At one point, somebody yelled out "go Steelers!" I thought about yelling out "go Juliet!" but chickened out! 😁 Next time though, I'm going to clap loud and long regardless! Even if I'm in a million seat theater and not another soul joins me! 😁 I did notice that the crowd was FAR more stand-offish. I would attempt to say hi to people and very few even returned a nod. One lady even very purposely turned her head away from me. Maybe the consequence of being in a large, crazy city like Las Vegas. At least I'd like to think that's the reason why. People were dressed more conservatively there, while I was dressed even less conservatively (I left my jacket behind because it was too warm in Vegas). So I talked at length with a Vietnamese man... I think that's where he said HE was from. He was DELIGHTFUL! It was a wonderful show but I was in the 10th row. I didn't know how to get front row tickets when I purchased that one. I purchased the Lake Tahoe tickets later and that's when I started figuring out how to get front row tickets. There's nothing like front row tickets. You get to talk with other avid fans and when she sings, you often feel like she's looking right at you. Also, the sound is more powerful and entrancing. From now on, I'm only going to only go to shows where I can get at least 2nd row tickets. Anyway, fabulous job Jackie! You were spectacular as always!
