Ombra Mai Fu at NPR
I think this is my favorite as it is a professional audio and video that main focus is Jackie. You can see how she totally immerses herself into the music. This also is during the period that she was using her entire body and arms to exhibit the emotion she feels for the music. Her voice is absolute perfection in this piece! Watch her eyes!!!
And for the beauty of Jackie
This is absolutely the epitome of 'All American Girl Next door'
And how about a little "FLIRT?"

Posting my favorite would take pages. But, to me, this video has always been one that exemplifies Jackie's natural professionalism as a child.
What a delightful little showman! She's so personable while performing. She acknowledges individuals with bright smiles and little waves as she strolls along the stage with adorable sincerity and charm, singing with confidence ease.
At The Grove.

Every time I see and hear this duet, it is hard to believe, that an 11 year old little girl, named Jackie Evancho, match the same level of singing with one of the greatest voices of all time, Barbra Streisand. For me, this is a magic moment in music history. Thank you, David Foster, who made this possible.

Her career has come a long way since those little girl Jackie days.

Though it is seemingly less popular among fans than their favorites on DWMIC, Mi Mancherai has a special emotional appeal to me that makes it my favorite from that production. Jackie's innate interpretation as a child is beyond comprehension.
This is a dailymotion video. I could not find this presentation on YouTube.

I actually like this production from Jackie's early days. Her voice has improved so much since this PBS show.

I found this a long time ago, but it's no longer available. Same Dream With Me performance, but a little better resolution and audio! And also one of my favorites.
Hope you enjoy!

Thanks, Willyiam. A whole treatise could be written on Jackie's interpretation and execution of that deeply moving lament.

I tend to cherish the less appreciated and remembered songs Jackie has recorded/performed, both early in her career and of late. This deeply felt interpretation of Se, executed with extraordinary finesse, is among my all-time favorites. This is exemplary of Jackie's power and artistry in her mid-range highlighted with those pure expressive high notes. It's only three tones above one octave, but contains all the emotion of the wider range songs. This is a master-work, in my opinion.

This too is my all-time favorite! I'm curious if Jackie sang Se today (and why hasn't she?), with an 18 year old voice, lungs and an additional 7 years experience, would we still bestow our accolades or was it just her youth that attracted us?

Willyiam, Se has been performed by noted adult artists, none of whom have matched the genuine artistry that Jackie demonstrated at that age, in my estimation. Personally I'd rather she left this one alone as a "done that" for history. Some songs from the early years are unique treasures, and this is one of them. I think I wouldn't want to compare it with another rendition, just for that reason.

I have four favorite Jackie songs in no particular order. They are Ombra Mai Fu and Mi Mancherai from DWM, Come What May from SFTSS, and With Or Without You from Awakening.
Before you say that Mi Mancherai wasn't on DWM, it was on the Target special DWM with four extra songs. I drove 140 miles to get that the day it came out. You may think that is a long way to go to buy one CD. Let me explain. The Target I went to is in Lansing MI. I lived in Lansing for years and shopped at that Target so I knew right where it was. True, it was 70 miles one way, but I wanted it and there are no Targets in my area.
Lansing is an hour and a half drive from where I live now. I called two Targets in Lansing to make sure they had it before I drove that far. The first was sold out and the second had one copy left. I explained my situation and asked them to save it for me. They did and I got it. It sold out fast as this was only about 10:00 in the morning when I called.
