Jackie seemed fairly definite that her new album would be released in March.
Jackie sang the three songs of hers with which we are familiar: Once Upon a December, Somewhere and Music of the Night, in a more dramatic and emphatic fashion than she has in the past. Her rendition of Music of the Night, the long version, was epic; I hope it will be preserved for posterity on YouTube.
As can be plainly seen in the above photos, Jackie's dress was the most daring she has ever worn. I think the dress served as a statement to the booking agents in attendance that she is no longer the little girl they remember from AGT.
The stage was small and cramped with equipment, so Jackie couldn't move around much but her gesture, as always were elegant.

I'm not on Facebook, so I can't see it. It seems, not to be public.

I'm not on Facebook, so I can't see it. It seems, not to be public. That's too bad, I just loved Jackie's new song "I'm not that girl". I can't wait to hear it on the new album, the cell phone sound was not great. I didn't really care for "Burn" from Hamilton but it's hard to judge a song from a phone.

Here's what I've learned so far re: APA Brunch at Sony Hall:
Review from Len Rausch;
Review from seraphin: "Jackie seemed fairly definite that her new album would be released in March.

Her new album will be released in March 2019 (Maybe!!). Jackie has served notice that the little girl has left the building and replaced her with a maturing 18 year old that is becoming comfortable with the skin she's in!
Jackie sang 5 songs: 3 of her previous songs: Once Upon A December, Somewhere and Music Of The Night,
and 2 songs from her new album: Burn from Hamilton and I'm Not That Girl.
Edit: This was a snippet of Jackie's version of Burn from Hamilton:
In 4 days, Jackie will perform at the Fox Tucson Theatre and hopefully, if someone records the songs, will treat us to some of the songs on her new album!

Re: the dress. Yes, though the white dress that she's worn all year was also slit to the navel. Two thoughts about Jackie's wardrobe going forward. First, I think she should get a first rate stylist to advise her. Perhaps, her new agent could suggest someone, because I didn't think the skirt slits almost to the waist really worked The top was standard show biz, sexy fashion, but the skirt was too much and just looked messy. Secondly, I wonder if Jackie might take some suggestions on her hair. If she really wants to keep it that long perhaps she could be given new styles to wear it in, not just have it hanging down in the same girlish ringlets she had when she was 10. Good stylists are plentiful in NYC and not all that expensive when you consider the difference they can make.

There were probably fewer than 75 in attendance at Sony Hall. The great majority of the attendees seemed to be industry professionals who clustered - where else - around the bar. Jackie hasn't performed before so few people since she last performed in her living room. The few Jackie fans in attendance were clustered around the stage. Jackie was the third act on the program which included some - er - unusual acts such as a duo who tapped dance in sneakers as they played musical instruments. The professionals seemed to start filtering out of the hall after Jackie sang her five-song set. Apparently, they left after seeing whom they came to see. I hope this augurs well for Jackie. Watching the various acts, one couldn't help but realize once again that there aren't that many people in the world with beautiful singing voices and that Jackie is one of them.

That's a shame, it's too bad someone didn't catch a better recording and that PA isn't still around to fix it. I listened to Idina Menzel's version and it's a very pretty song, I like it a lot, and Jackie will do a beautiful job with it. I don't like "Burn" at all though.
