Looks like this will be the first concert of Jackie's new Album, The New American Songbook. www.rutheckerdhall.com/event/jackie-evanchoDetails Sat, Mar 16 at 8:00 PM @ Capitol Theatre Jackie Evancho, the 18 year-old American classical crossover sensation that gained wide recognition at an early age, makes her Capitol Theatre debut! With her upcoming new album and tour, The New American Songbook, the multi-platinum recording artist will match her extraordinary voice with one of most exciting reemerging genres in popular music today. With songs from breakthrough musicals such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hanson, Waitress, Once, The Band’s Visit, Wicked, and Spring Awakening, and hit films like The Greatest Showman and La La Land, the New American Songbook has permeated mainstream culture – building its already-impassioned musical theatre audiences while cultivating a brand new generation of ultra-engaged young fans.

Looks like this will be the first concert of Jackie's new Album, The New American Songbook. It's just not specific enough for me rick. The only concrete statement about "debut" is this is Jackie's first appearance at that theater, not that this is the debut concert of The New American Songbook. Maybe it is the album debut, maybe it's not. I want to attend the debut concert of this new album. I'd hate to spend for tickets, airfare and lodging only to learn the actual album and tour debut is somewhere else, perhaps nearer to me than Florida.

I'm a little confused. They talk about a debut at this theater. Jackie had already a concert in December 2016 at Ruth Eckerd Hall (see video). The Capitol Theatre consists of a couple of Concert Halls, but I mean, Jackie is scheduled at Ruth Eckerd Hall. So, that is no debut for me. Do I misunderstand something?

The deal is: Ruth Eckerd Hall is several associated theaters. This one, The Capitol, is new, but in the R.E. complex. I was puzzled about that at first.

I thought it was the opposite. I thought, Ruth Eckerd Hall is part of Capitol Theatre, but as you mentioned, Capitol Theatre is part of Ruth Eckerd Hall.
