So the attendance was 450 people (90% of 500)? I'm surprised they took the booking. I bet Jackie is eager for the holiday season to start, with its larger venues and sometimes real orchestras to back her. My observation is that Jackie is happy to perform for any audience, large or small. She was no less exuberant, personable and grateful in Spokane and apparently at Vacaville than at any other venue. I doubt those who had the opportunity to hear/see Jackie perform would appreciate your dismissive comment, julia. No sane person appreciates any of julia's dismissive, nor mean spirited remarks. Though she does have a strong following of fellow trolls supporting her.

They have Jackie confused with someone who would give a schitt what they think.

Here is the video promoting the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre season with reference to Jackie's new album. Hopefully, a new album means an untick in the number of concerts for Jackie. Not only an uptick in the number of concerts, hopefully fewer empty seats at those concerts as well.

For a group that always says things like who cares what the so called "peanut gallery" thinks, you seem to get all worked up whenever the so called "peanut gallery" throws out their current opinions on Jackie. I agree that JE probably could care less what we all think. However, if that is the case, you really shouldn't get all worked up when we say things about the status of Jackie's career.

Actually, I believe the peanut gallery refers to poor but ardent fans of the entertainment they are watching. They are, in reality, often the truest and most knowledgeable fans of all. The contempt rises from the contempt for their poverty and perhaps what they use to express displeasure of an act.. Which reminds me of a story Katharine Hepburn used to tell. About to tour in a play in England, she asked Ethel Barrymore for advice about audiences. Miss Barrymore said, "Watch out for Liverpool. They throw tomatoes in Liverpool." LOL. Show biz is not for the faint of heart. EDIT: Let me add. I doubt very much that anything we say here has any effect on the Evanchos. We are having a conversation among ourselves about a young singer's career. And for me, at least, it's interesting to try to figure out how she's going to get herself out of the box she finds herself in. That she has a fairly aged fan base, because of starting as a pre-teen, but she now has an adult career to map out in a very different music industry than it was when she turned pro.
