No doubt someone, probably Mike, will video at least one of Jackie's songs at A Night In Venice. That's always appreciated. I hope we'll see some personal photos, as well. At this event, I'm particularly anxious to see her smiling and waving from the Grand Marshal Boat. That's a unique occasion.

An excerpt from OCNJ HAPPENINGS July 19, 2018 Night in Venice Boat Parade The Night in Venice boat parade, which is the number one reason to be in town during this weekend, will take place on Saturday, July 28, starting at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is “TV’s Greatest Hits” and the grand marshals will be Jackie Evancho, Jon Dorenbos, Laurie Hernandez and Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy. Boat owners who wish to enter the parade can register online, decorate their boats and join the parade, which starts at the Ocean City-Longport bridge and heads south along the bay, meandering in and out of the lagoons, until it reaches Tennessee Avenue. If you are a bayside homeowner or condo owner, you can also register your home to be considered as a contestant in the Night in Venice festivities. Many homeowners decorate their houses and enter the contest to try to win the prize for best decoration. For those who wish to watch the parade and don’t have a bayside home in which to do so, don’t worry, as the cross streets which end at the bay are a great place to spectate, along with the 9th Street bridge, for free. Certain cross streets will have grandstands set up for viewing (see the FAQ’s section on the city website for more info). For those who don’t mind paying a small fee, the Bayside Center at 520 Bay Avenue will be open with bleacher seating, food for sale, kid’s activities, live entertainment and more. The cost to view the parade at the Bayside Center and take advantage of these other amenities is $4 for kids 12 and under and $8 for adults. Gates open at 5:15 p.m. and guests can stay to watch the Night in Venice fireworks display, which begins at 9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at City Hall or online.

Hey! Am looking for fan get together pre- and/or post- concert... We've enjoyed some, here in PA, but disappointed in Baltimore... Is there a loop we're out of? ! Hello there dbh. I just reviewed this short thread. You're the only fan going from this forum. I'd love to join you and anyone else for any Jackie event but the Atlantic ocean is just too far from Indianapolis for me to attend a Sunday night concert. Enjoy a Jackie evening and post a few lines or a magnificent forty paragraph review for us.

Hey! Am looking for fan get together pre- and/or post- concert... We've enjoyed some, here in PA, but disappointed in Baltimore... Is there a loop we're out of? ! There's a Facebook group (unofficial, i.e. just volunteers and members) for fan gatherings, but nobody that uses it has posted for the Ocean City, NJ concert. The page is (I believe) public, although you'd have to join to post. There's a firm rule for one post per event, with all followup being comments on that post. www.facebook.com/groups/378197752562485/It takes someone attending that is willing to organize a gathering, preferably a couple months in advance, so that options can be discussed and reservations made. Organizing that sort of thing is well outside some people's comfort zone, so it doesn't always happen. But if you see some of the regulars (not always front row, but say somewhere in the front five rows or so) talking to each other at intermission, you can always ask if they have anything in mind afterwards...although the organized gatherings tend to be before the concerts, which is why I often skip them, since the gathering would do me more good afterward.
